I'll be completely honest, my experience did not start out good at all. My husband and I went in on July 15 and the salesman Michael (or Michael David as he later referred to himself) immediately started following is around the store. Once we found the living room furniture we wanted we began talking numbers and that's when the first lie came. He told us we needed to buy either that day or the next otherwise we wouldn't get the 18 months no interest. I called him out on it he changed his answer to "well maybe you have a week." Then he told us that when you buy furniture there is a 5 year warranty - lie number 2. He gave us pricing and my husband and I left to think about everything. I decided to look online at other pieces in the collection only to find that the prices he quoted my were higher than the online prices. I went in the next day, quite irritated to say the least, and that's when I spoke with Eugene who was very upfront about everything. He informed me that the 5 year warranty comes at a $400 cost... Something Micheal neglected to inform us. After being lied to about how quickly we needed to buy to get the financing we wanted, the warranty, and the price of the furniture I was ready to leave and never come back. The ONLY reason we still bought from them is because Eugene and the store manager Branden made it right!! Eugene was not overly pushy and did not lie just to make a sale. Branden was very sincere in his concern for the way my husband and I were treated by Micheal. He didn't have to, but he took his time with us and made sure we didn't leave with a bad taste in our mouths. Because of these 2 gentleman only, mega furniture will receive more of our business. Thank you Branden...
Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience with Mega Furniture, which has changed my perception of the store. I visited twice to inquire about a bedroom set. Both times, the manager seemed more interested in upselling rather than helping us get the best price.
Last year, we had a positive experience purchasing a couch from Mega Furniture, which made this recent visit all the more disheartening. The bedroom set we were interested in was listed at a cheaper price at a local competitor so we asked about price matching. Despite the managers phone assurance about price matching, the manager refused to honor the competitor's price once we brought it in. We chose Mega Furniture initially because we have a credit line with them, but after this experience, we won't be returning. The lack of consistency and poor customer service made this the worst experience we've had with them.
After this frustrating experience, we decided to visit Ashley Furniture. They not only matched the competitor's price we brought in, saving us over $600, but also offered a $50 delivery service. The process was straightforward, and there was no hassle. We simply walked in, asked about price matching, and they immediately agreed and followed through.
We are pleased with our experience at Ashley Furniture and will definitely be working with them in the future. The contrast in customer service and straightforward pricing was stark. Very disappointed with Mega Furniture and cannot recommend doing business with them. Instead, we highly recommend checking out Ashley Furniture for a more pleasant and transparent...

Soooo. The manager from corporate got involved with our issue. I would like to say he was true to his word, kept us informed and has rectified the issue we had with our couches. Michael Guerra did an outstanding job and I would recommend his services to anyone. I still stand by not shopping at the Pat Booker store if Daniel is still manager there. However I would say to try the other stores for their service.
Had no choice but 1 star. Would give zero if it was an option. They're hopeless. Couldn't pour sand out of a boot even if the I destructions were written on the bottom. They're manager is a spineless useless piece of excrement who has no desire to rectify customer complaints and is quite happy to throw the rest of his employees under the bus and blame them rather accept responsibility and move on. Obviously has never served his country and learnt a fraction of leadership. He also felt that when we came in to complain that sitting, no lounging on one of the sofas was an appropriate way to have a conversation whilst we were standing. Not only that felt that calling the customers liars and belittling them was the way to rectify a fault that was entirely theirs. They delivered the wrong item then had the gaul to state that we were mistaken and we weren't seeing it right. So this has been going on for a month and we have BBB involved now. But it's a watch this space because we've complained to the GM who according to the manager of the UC store is a "family" member so we'll see if he's...
