Why the other reviews are somewhat silly:
This location is one of the busiest I've ever been to in Dallas. I work in the area and often have to travel around Hillcrest and the traffic can be a nightmare some days. Located across the street from the SMU campus, this shop is situated in the middle of a strip full of eateries. The parking in this area is inadequate given the volume of people walking and visiting the shops.
I went in on a Saturday, had to park around the block, felt like I walked a mile to get there. Why? Because this is the closest location for me. The store was shiny clean from floors, doors to bathroom. Sidewalk in front was even spotless.
The employees were swamped but smiling, greeted me as I walked in the door and explained, very clearly, two different items on the menu.
My order was fixed exactly how I requested and fast, even though there were five college kids in front of me making random changes with sarcasm dripping out of their mouths the entire time.
I've never seen such bad treatment of employees that are just doing their jobs.
That said.....to the manager....given the amount of traffic to your store, hiring a couple more people to help would be ideal. I can't imagine how busy they might have also been with deliveries as well. That's business, if you want to keep it. Listen to your customer's reviews. Late deliveries aren't acceptable but neither is expecting people that are swamped at the store to perform miracles. When you hire Jesus, maybe that'll be possible.
Overall: friendly, good service, clean, wore gloves, fast completion, perfect order. It's an ideal location for being a premiere store despite parking...
Read moreSo this is a complicated mess...Ordered two sandwiches online today...I used my Birthday free sandwich promo...when I showed up there was only one bag with one sandwich...I explained to the staff that I was missing part of my order and showed them my receipt in my email...the man working with me took my phone to the Manager to show him what I had ordered...I heard the manager in the background say "I'm not giving him a free sandwich"...So I was forced to place a new order and pay for another sandwich...I warned them that this would lead to a bad review and they did not seem to care...I can't stress how awful this customer service was...my blood was literally boiling over a $9 sandwich...30 minutes later they called me and apologized for making a mistake...apparently my order was split between web pick up & regular pick up...I don't really understand the difference...I want to thank the young man Michael who was trying to help me resolve this...You could tell Michael wanted to do the right thing approaching the manager multiple times hoping for a more effective...
Read moreI have never had a problem with this jimmy John's I work down the street from them and they get my order to me within 20 to 30 mins after I order it. The sandwich is always right and so tasty! Maybe they have new management since the bad comments but I seriously like them, and would recommend them to my fellow coworkers.
EDIT: I still like this location but its very iffy now. I order from there when I don't want pizza, but the last few times I ordered it took around 45 minutes to get to me... I have noticed new drivers, and there is only one who gets my food to me in under 30 minutes, the rest of them take their time. I also started noticing they skimp on cheese, granted its only 87 cents extra so I shouldn't expect much. IDK what happened but I may take a break from ordering...
