I’ve been to GJF stadium years ago when smu was reeling from the death penalty and I went to the game vs Boston College (2-4). I miss the big old patch on the opposite end zone. They turned it into a club bougie. Completely different vibe because of the new part of the stadium they built, but this is now a college football program with the challenge of a new conference that is going to continue to grow & possibly win big such as bowl games/CFP. Parking is reasonable. As a Dallasite lived here all my life, pretty fun to hang at the blvd before the games. Like with any great American tradition concessions bend you over with the prices. I’ll always stayed hydrated so I’ll grab a bottle water or two but come already eaten and full, I secured cheap tix via SeatGeek. I always enjoy this place to watch a game of footy and catchup with...

Rating this on a HS game. Smu just refuses to open more than a pair of gates and ticket offices. Keep in mind your HS playoff game probably averages more fans than smu does. Southlake Carroll Dallas Skyline "silver fox" game? Waited 30 minutes in the ticket line. It's an easily fixable problem smu has not fixed. And we're talking about 4-8 more minimum wage employees for an extra hour or 2. Parking, concessions at half are issues. Can't blame smu for Dallas traffic. But you add that time to the other issues getting in. Give smu credit. Tcu refuses to go to field turf which costs them playoff games. Playoff games= possible recruits in your facility. It's 5 star to watch the game once you're in, however $6 for a 20 oz Powerade? 3.4 stars overall. Park at dart mockingbird station, prebuy your tickets at...

Good stadium - bad parking. We attended the serv-pro first responder bowl with Rice and Texas State. We got in the area 90 mins before the game and traffic was gridlock.

The neighborhood was a typical stadium area with limited spaces and many parking traps. After many turns and twist- a parking garage near by was open and not so convenient to the entrance gate. We walked thru several quadrangles. The gate security check was unorganized.

Walking to our seat was OK. The game was great! I added pics of the field. It was springy and light on knees and feet. It's a professional caliber field.

This stadium is great however the lines are insanely long to get a beer or some food and drinks. I missed about a quarter of the game just waiting in line. Need to get some more employees and also get the iens they do have to pick it up a bit. Saw many just standing around while 50+ people waited in line. And the express thing where you scan your code on the seat, it's not any faster to get food, the line for that is just as long if not longer than the regular line. Great atmosphere for college football though if you're going just for the game! I do recommend catching a game if you're in the Dallas area!
