Lefty's Burger Shack — Restaurant in University Place

We arrived here around Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking for us to stop by. There were a few cars and a few people standing and waiting for their orders. They have quite the extensive menu so we took our time to see what we wanted as we were going to get bubble tea and dessert elsewhere. As we were looking at the menu, a lady who was our cashier asked politely if we were ready and once we were ready to order then to just come up to the window. We ended up getting a shrimp basket, mushroom burger, hot dog, and a side order of frings.

There is plenty of benches that you can sit and enjoy your meal. We also love all the cute decorations and color scheme of the shack. We even got a cute photo of our dog. We got our order after several minutes but we noticed that we were missing our hot dog. However, the cashier mentions that she didn't hear that and that they were willing to give it to us for free. We thought that was so sweet of them as we were still ready to pay for it but they took it upon themselves to correct a mistake. The food was very good, we loved the juiciness of the shrimp and hot dog, the flavors of the burger, and the deliciousness of the fries especially with that fry sauce. It hurts to write this review because I’ve been a loyal customer to this place for 5+ years and today was sadly my last time being a customer. I loved their burgers, fries, shakes and even their fry sauce. BUT the customer service was TERRIBLE. I’ve never not once had a bad experience while coming here. But today I was cut off multiple times by the girl taking my order and my order ended up being wrong! If she had maybe let me finish a sentence it wouldn’t have been wrong and wouldn’t have been rushed. My boyfriend and I were on our way home eating and took a bite into our messed up burgers and just ended up giving it to a homeless person. But it still really bugged me how I got treated so I went back and talked to the manager. I wasn’t expecting a full refund because we didn’t have our food but it would have been nice. Even after talking to the manager about the poor customer service it seemed like he didn’t care and just shrugged it off. The whole situation rubbed me the wrong way and really disappointed me because like I said I LOVED this place it was my favorite burger place of all time, but the way I got treated was not acceptable. I hope no one has the experience I had and hopefully they ALL start acting right and treat people...

Usually really good, but this time I got home and my deluxe double cheeseburger (I made sure to specify this), was just a deluxe double burger. i.e. it was missing the cheese. I was freaking disappointed. It turned what is one of my favorite cheeseburgers out there into a depressing experience. The only other problems we've had here before had been some missing condiments. So pretty good. But this just ruined my whole day...

Updating my review to 1 star for simple dishonesty and lack of ethics.

My girlfriend and I went there. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Gal at the counter walked away for a sec, and my GF said to me "I think I heard them say they're out of bacon". I thought: that's probably after my order, Im not gonna say anything, hopefully they wouldn't lie to us..

Sure enough, we get home, there's NO bacon on the burger!

AND, they still had the gall to write "bacon" on the wrapper.

Frankly, this deserves a separate review from my first, but google won't let me do another.
