If there were a gold standard for childrenās clothing boutiques, Pop Up Kids would be the one setting it. My wife is the primary shopper in our household (Iām more of the ācarry the bags and smileā type), but even I have to admitāthis place is something special.š
First, letās talk about the clothes. They always have my daughterās size, which any parent knows is no small feat. Finding stylish, high-quality outfits that fit perfectly (and last longer than a single growth spurt) feels like winning the lottery. But at Pop Up Kids, itās just another day in their world of impeccable curation. Whether itās everyday essentials, special occasion outfits, or that one piece that makes you say, āShe needs this,ā they have it.
Then, thereās the staffāabsolute gems. Welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable, they make shopping here feel more like a personal styling experience than a mere transaction. They somehow strike the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, offering great suggestions without being pushy. And if youāre ever in doubt, they have an uncanny ability to know what will look adorable before you even do.
Iād recommend Pop Up Kids to any parent, grandparent, or well-meaning relative looking to spoil a little one in their life. Whether youāre there to browse or to stock up, youāll walk out feeling like you just made the best retail decision of the week. And if youāre like me, youāll just smile and nod while your wife handles the cartābecause, trust me, sheās onto something great here. š
Five stars, two thumbs up, and a very well-dressed child laterāthis place is...

Was really looking forward to trying this place, but ended up disappointed. Brought in big a bag of all name brand boys clothes, easily worth over $400. I shopped around while they looked through my stuff. Hoping I could find something. But the items were not what I was looking for. She offered me $55 trade in or $35 cash⦠(she accepted everything in the bag, but 4 items) I decided I would take the cash since I didnāt find anything. She just had me write my name and email down on a piece of paper and said she would pay me at the end of the month. This was all on September 2nd. I messaged her on September 28th asking about when I would receive payment and she just responded she pays everyone at the end of the month and will check on it when sheās in the shop next. She messaged me saying she sent the payment through Zelle and stated it was never claimed. She never once mentioned a Zelle payment prior, as this is not an app Iām apart of. That should be something she mentions prior to looking at people items. She should let them know āI donāt pay until end of month and I pay through Zelleā. Iāve never been to a consignment shop where they donāt pay you with cash with your items up front. Also, a place that does not communicate better with their customers. Overall pretty disappointed as itās October 2nd and still have not received my money.
($35 isnāt a big deal, just frustrating when I couldāve done something else with those clothes or had better communication to better understand how things worked...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love Pop Up Kids! I can basically clothe my daughter for free by trading in clothes sheās outgrown. The selection is always so funā they have clothes for women too! Iāve found the cutest athleisure and dresses for work too- and nearly all my sweatshirts and leggings & workout gear is from there!
One of my favorite things is stopping in after a long day of work. No matter how busy itās been, everyone working there is cheerful and welcoming (even after being on their feet all day!). Itās more than just a storeāit really feels like a community.
Highly recommend to any parent, grandparent or anyone with kids in their lives who want to save money, shop sustainably, and enjoy the sweetest local vibe. Letās support our local family owned businesses instead of big...
