China One — Restaurant in Upland

This is a really nice restaurant to eat at for sure. I started coming since it opened always having the lunch special. My favorite is the garlic chicken. I was happy with them always ...until I asked if they chop up the veggies a little more for me because some pieces of veggies aren't small so you have to cut into them. Well believe or not THEY REFUSED TO CHOP MY VEGGIES to make them easier for me to eat!!...I asked why and the girl behind counter said they can't do it because they just cant.?? Took my order and I was shocked how they refused..as if they have no chopping blades to do so. Well again last week I called in 2 orders of my Garlic chicken..I asked politely if they could chop veggies..because they are not mouth size...GIRL AGAIN SAID NO AND THE COOK REFUSED SHE SAID. WOW...I told her nevermind and I hung on her... they just list a good customer. I ALWAYS ORDERED TWICE on weekends and always told others about how good the food is....No More China One for me...they don't deserve my business after coldly being responded to....ungrateful to a loyal customer...oh well...Karen...

Local spot is convenient. They do make the food fresh. However, what used to be included in the basic hot and sour soup (Depending on the cook, sometimes the soup is spot on it other times it lacks and to think… Almost $10 including tax for soup with no meat) isn’t anymore. Why would you charge especially a repeat customer for yyyyears for the hard noodles? Used to be included…now, if you want a little bag of crunchy noodles, you have to pay an extra dollar just because they put them in a see through square plastic container? What gives? I know that everything has changed before and after the pandemic, but the pandemic has been over with for close to two years. So now shrinkflation and inflation has been in full effect… But seriously? Crunchy noodles? We’re not asking for extra pork or extra beef or extra seafood. And when you order shrimp fried rice? I counted seven… That’s right only seven pieces of deveined shrimp for...

I came in there today around 12:30 I didn't have much money so I wanted to order a small chow mein noodle to go with some chicken for my children she was upset about that I ordered a small shorted me on the chow mein and also didn't put any type of onions or bean sprouts or anything time previously my food order and everything was excellent awesome African-American black I don't feel that she sympathized with the fact that I didn't have much money and still want to feed my children I called her back and I asked her about that I'm just very disappointed because I didn't have much money so she didn't make the food right I'm very sad and wasn't even able to make sure my children properly and also dealing with a gas leak in my apartment...
