Wow, WORST customer service EVER!!! I arranged for 3 separate orders that were due to be delivered to my 90 year old aunt, my quadrapeligic brother (police officer shot in line of duty and a 75 year old friend of family a week ago. My credit card was charged and I received 3 confirmation emails indicating these hams would be delivered on 4/10, but no tracking info and nothing has arrived at any of the 3 locations and it is now 8:37 Saturday morning and Easter is tomorrow. My wife and I have called the customer service number and are either immediately disconnected if you call store or she has been on hold for over 3 hours. When I called the recording told me there were 448 calls ahead of her and now and the next update told me there were 328 calls in front of her!!! Since we can't be together with family for Easter, I thought it would be nice to keep these 3 safe from harm and continue one of our traditions of having the ham. I realize they are busy due to quarantine and it's Easter, but there MUST be a way to get some functional level of customer service and updating information. There are no updates on my online account with them, and no emails with tracking. I emailed customer service with my order numbers and have not heard anything. Since we have no idea if/when these orders will arrive, we will have to make other arrangements to feed these most vulnerable people... It would have been nice, professional, decent for them to HBHam to provide ANY information about status online, since it's impossible to reach a human being at this company. I guess I will see about driving 75 miles each way to shop for my aunt, another 89 miles for my brother and hope our friend can find something...
Read moreWhen I think of a good restaurant, I’m not fully focused on taste. I can have the best meal in the world, and if the service and attitude is subpar, it reflects on how I think and feel about the enjoyment while there. Today, I was warmly greeted by Teresa. I looked over the menu and selected the Honey Baked Ham Classic sandwich and added potato salad for a side order. I went with sourdough bread over a croissant. As I was waiting for the preparation, another waitress came out and gave me a sample of a seasonal menu item, the Cuban Slider. Wow, was that good! It’s a slider with ham and pulled pork with mustard. I found out that this is one of two establishments that has a restaurant built inside within the state of California. They are open breakfast, lunch, and dinner… hours are 8 AM to 6 PM on the weekdays, closing at 5 PM on Saturdays, and closing 4 PM on Sundays. This is my first time ever eating at the restaurant. Usually, people think of buying spiral hams during holidays. Now I know where to go for my Saturday breakfast with the guys. It’s cute enough of a place to draw in the ladies for their social gatherings, too. The food is outstanding and you can always pick up prepared food to go from their deli section after painting the tab. The Cuban sliders were so good that I bought a dozen of them to bring home to my wife for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner. You know with honeybaked ham you’re never gonna go wrong with anything on their menu. I can’t wait to try their breakfast burrito. Here are some photos using my iPhone 13 Pro and included the...
Read moreIf you want to have a complete FULL meal, with all the goodies… Ham… Eggs Benedict…Breakfast.. and SO much more.. this is the place to go.. It has been a minute since I have been here, but me and my wife decided to stop by after COVID-19 died down. Just as we remembered (I believe they have renovated) great food at a decent price. It’s great knowing right off the bat, that they have Gel Sanitizers at every table. This I learned was one of the few Honey Baked stores that also has a cafe inside. So for sure give this place a try.
We picked the following this time: Traditional Breakfast - If you want a traditional breakfast, this will do it, your choice of protein, waffle, eggs and potatoes and the croquette. Blackstone Benedict - This dish was actually really good. The Carmel candy bacon… the honey baked ham slices… the only critic I was a bit bummed out was the egg, which was not runny..
Overall we had a great experience, just had to take our food togo with so much leftover. This place reminds me of the breakfast places like Hash a Go go (not as big but big portions). Glad to have a place like this nearby, looking forward to try their prime...
