This is an amazing hidden gem serving up delicious Mexican food.
It was my son's 22nd birthday and in good family tradition the birthday person gets to select whatever restaurant they want eat at dads expense... Yeah I know!
My son's selection was Mexican and after a Google search he found Taco Bout Good just 10 minutes from the house, awesome!
Here's what we ordered Tocos - 3 Asada, 3 Pastor, 3 Chorizo, 3 Carnitas Burritos - 1 Asada, 2 Birria Birria Mulita's - 2
With this amount of food we were able to taste test a good portion of the menu and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. With all the fixings added the flavor was amazing and I felt like I was right at home in East Los.
Pricing - was fair coming in at $90
Portion Sizes- was good and just my burrito alone filled me up. Taste testing everyone else's food did me in tho and I got the itis and slept like a fat happy baby.
Establishment- though hidden in the cut of an industry center this place was very well maintained so if your looking to dine in you won't see any flying annoyances or crawling scavengers rummaging about the dinning room. Nothing worse than sharing your burrito with a few flys.
Quick Note: on this particular day the cook was late and the owner was left to take orders, ring up the register and cook the food and he was amazing! A true business man who knows every aspect of his business.
With 3 people waiting when I arrived, I only waited 10 minutes longer then the 20 minute phone order promis time and he was very humble and apologetic for the extra wait. There was no excuse or attitude to deal with though if it was me I would have been extremely frustrated with the situation... Nope not this guy!... Just awesome!
Hey if your looking for a good spot to eat, Toco Bout Good has my approval and we'll definitely be going back.
What would I like to see done better, we'll an online website that had an actual menu with pictures but many places these days are going with just pictures of the menu on the wall as did this place. But really that's about it.. keep it up brother your...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don't usually taco 'bout my feelings... but WOW. This place had me emotionally invested after the first bite. Taco About Good is what happens when flavor meets generosity — big portions, bold taste, and everything cooked like abuela whispered the recipe to the chef in a dream.
The tacos? Built like they’ve been hitting the gym — no tiny sad tortillas here. Every bite hits with flavor bombs, juicy fillings, and just the right kick. I was full, happy, and lowkey planning my next visit before I even left the parking lot.
Service was warm, fast, and friendly. Felt more like I was at a backyard cookout than a taco joint. It’s giving: high quality, affordable luxury, street food royalty.
Pro tip: bring an appetite and maybe a fork for when the tacos inevitably overflow with greatness.

Read moreI’ve been wanting to try this taco shop for a while and after a few years of knowing about it. We went for a taco Tuesday and were very pleased with the price. We had carne asada, chicken, tri tip, and shrimp. Though we had 2 of their premiums, they still had a taco Tuesday special for less than the original price. The carne asada was pretty dry, had to dress up the taco with plenty of salsa and lemon. The chicken was seasoned well but shredded to tiny pieces and dry. The shrimp was okay but no cream. The tri tip was the best tasting. The tri tip was juicy and well seasoned, the only complaint was that it had too much fat. In conclusion, the food was OKAY but probably wouldn’t go back with other shops in the area.
A side note: someone showed up asking for their check and after waiting a while, they decided to go and confront the owner themselves. Pretty sad there was hesitation in the first place especially if they...
