Baldy View Dog Park — Attraction in Upland

If you're the type that will get bored rather quickly from watching grass grow then Baldly Veiw might peek your attention. They have a simple but workable area cordon off to allow all the "Canine Guru's" to bring their dogs to enjoy the So Cal weather and have their social day with the other 4 footed neighbors.Thier fun to watch and the kids dig'em! The park sits on a fairly quiet street next to a not to big elementary school across from a down to earth Baptist church. Also includes a standard "playarea" and individual family size picnic tables with a bbq next to each of them. OH..,before I sign off,...keep this a secret between me & U..The best place to watch your favorite, local high school 4th of July fireworks is right in the middle of the large grassy area next to the elementary playground. Highly recommend this dog park. Newly renovated with lots of grass and room to run. Small dog park area and separate big dog area. Waste disposal areas and water available. I was delighted today to see that the small Dog Park had been moved back to the area where the small Dog Park used to be. There were 16 small dogs already there at 8:30 this morning running and playing. I urge the city to please please please let us stay at the original small Dog Park. The newer small area could be a separate area for geriatric dogs or to train our dogs separately. Please consider our pets...

The dog areas have poo pickup stations and benches in the shade. There's a separate area for smaller/timid/senior dogs so the little ones have their own space to play. The playground looked nice, it was shaded in the afternoon so kids won't burn themselves on a hot jungle gym. There are lots of homeless people here but they didn't bother us. The bathrooms are clean also, but get locked after dark. Ladies, beware of the water pressure in the sink in the women's bathroom, it might spray water everywhere! Pups had a blast, will be...
