Didn't know that a "family market' hires violent people. I come from Ontario to come to this specific Stater Brothers because of its amazing attentive staff. But this will be my last visit to this store and last purchase with this company. I recently found out about a domestic abuse incident that involved my 19-year-old niece and 28-year-old Eric G. from this store. Most companies that market themselves as a "family market' would not allow someone with a violent offense on their record to work around their customers, I thought that companies like Stater Brothers cared deeply about both their customers and employees but considering that Eric G. still works for this company along-side the victim of his abuse, my niece really says otherwise. I understand people have their wrongs in life but strangling another human being, while also mutilating their neck, we all know his true intentions were more than just to choke her out. You're a sick person Eric G., yet you continuously mask who you are. And for you to tell people all you did was grab her shirt. Pathetic. Stater Brothers needs to do better. Take into consideration the victim works for your company yet you still support the offender!? He gets to walk around without marks and bruises on his neck trying to sugar coat his story and being buddy buddy with everyone while she has to continuesly be questioned because its so obvious someone got physically violent with her. I will be posting pictures to yelp so you can see what he really did instead of what he's telling everyone. Own up to your actions And tell people the real reason you...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with this ‘manager’ anna marie. She decided to ID check me for the purchase of two lighters. Unable to find my ID, I expressed that I had never run into the issue here before. She said that it is a CA state law (it is not). She was curt and rude, after I finally found my ID, guess what, she still did not want to sell them, now saying that she dOsENt HAve tO sELl tO ME. I put the money on the counter and left, she tried blocking and entrapping me in the store, yelling and shouting for me to stay. Called the police. I called the police as well. The next morning I called to speak to the store manager ‘dave’ and express that I felt discriminated against/embarrassed, he then told me if I was going to talk about race, then he was going to hang up on me. He didn’t offer an apology for my experience until I pointed out that he hadn’t expressed any empathy for my tribulation. Real cookie cut, robot run of the mill A hole. I see A TON of complaints about this kid. I wouldn’t recommend a visit to this store until they change management. How you treat another human should matter. UPDATE: I spoke to the grocery manager and he restored my confidence in the possibility of future visits to this store. He offered a listening ear and said that he would see to it that they offer an understanding hand to their customers. Billy really made me feel a lot better in a time where simple hardships can take away a lot of light in an already dimming society. His compassion...
Read moreI went to Stater Bros on 8/13 and my cashier's name was Ashley not only did she and the box boy forget to bag my baby's oral gel they had no concern for how they bagged my groceries. The box boy threw cans of beans on top of my bread, it was completely smashed. I brought with me a big bag of reusable bags all big sizes and 2 small ones. And tell me why of all the options the bagger decides to use the smallest ones. The cashiers here usually scan things so quickly they dont even give their baggers time to keep up and everything gets smashed up on the conveyor belt. And all the box people need to be trained on how to properly bag groceries. Which you would think should be common sense but apparently here it isn't. You dont bag raw meat or chicken with anything else, eggs bread and chips should go together and definitely not under or mixed with anything heavy. And if the shopper took the time to organize the procudts their buying in order of how they want it bagged at least have the decency to bag it that way. Hate coming to...
