This is such a hidden little gem. It owned and operated by one man, with no other employees. Because of that, service is slow, but if you come in knowing that, then it's fine. There are so many bakery goods to choose from, and they are all sugar-free. The prices are so good, even if they weren't sugar-free! Unfortunately my husband and I chose to buy two of the most expensive things, because they are apparently the most popular: the cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake. The cheesecake was yummy, but not quite worth the higher price. The strawberry shortcake was...well...strawberry shortcake. My husband and I always find strawberry shortcake to be boring, so I'm not sure why we ordered it haha. I guess just because he said it was most popular, so we had high hopes. But it was literally just like any strawberry shortcake haha. Regardless, we will definitely be coming here again, but to try the cheaper items like the turnovers, and maybe a sundae if the ice cream is available that day (it wasn't for us).

Such an amazing place! I started getting cakes and pastries from Greg 3 years ago when my significant other wanted to surprise his mom with a cake for her birthday (she’s diabetic). I obviously really wanted to impress her so I searched for the closest completely sugar free bakery near me and that’s when I found The Thinnery! I just bought a cake again for my aunt (also diabetic) and drove in 2 hours of heavy traffic from K-Town LA to the IE and it is WORTH IT EVERYTIME! My aunt LOVED her cake and she kept asking if I was sure it was sugar free (I get this every time haha) I told her is she didn’t believe me to check her blood sugar; They are all SUGAR FREE and delicious!!! Perfect for anyone and everyone! Better than many cakes I’ve had in my 20 plus years of life! Thank you so much Greg!!!!
