This was at the Arlington location, and although I've driven by countless times this was the first time I've gone and I'm so glad I did. I took my kids to have lunch and my first impression was slightly underwhelming from the exterior since you first encounter a station where you order your food. I was expecting table service. That was quickly erased by the comfortable interior seating area. A large bold graphic on one wall opposite the open kitchen. Sturdy wood tables with little metal stools... very cool. There's seating in front of the open kitchen for those eating alone or if you don't like the people you're with. I ordered the Tam Tam and the kids ordered the Shoyu. I also ordered a small plate of pork belly rice. They came out pretty quickly despite the full house. The broth was tasty with a little heat and the noodles were firm. The added meat and the half boiled egg were tasty! We'll be regularly coming back!

Excellent Ramen spot! Place offers a variety of broths, ranging from chicken, to pork, to fish, to miso. Some are blended. The noodles are the perfect texture, slightly springy to the chew. Ordered the Red Dragon with spice level 2. It was quite spicy, can't imagine what 3 is like. I asked the server and apparently some request for level 4, 5, and 6 which are not on menu. If you are sensitive to spicy foods, stay away from this dish, otherwise it is delectable. The soy egg was a great creamy addition. They allowed me to substitute the pork belly with chicken. Brother ordered the standard chicken ramen. The broth was delicious but no spice at all. There are other dishes that I will want to try such as the rice bowls and curry. Prices are standard ramen prices, $13-$18. There is an outdoor seating area that housed a great ambience alongside the street. Will return for more 🙏🏼

OVERALL: Average restaurant specializing in ramen bowls with nothing standing out as good or bad. MENU: Listed on TV's above ordering station, simple bowls with around 10 to choose from. STAFFING: Ordering at the front counter, the man working was not compatible with customer service. I asked a fairly simple question if I could replace the fish broth for chicken broth but he seem confused. Instead of letting me know if it was a good choice for the bowl I selected, he seemed focused on the "why" I would want chicken over fish broth MEAL: Bamboo shoots are a nice addition but these were brown and stale on the edges leaving me to believe old food is being used. ATMOSPHERE: Backless chairs are not for sit down restaurants. They are used to make customers spend less time in the establishment. CLEANLINESS: Tables and chairs seemed clean enough

I’m usually not a big fan of soups or ramen, but I decided to give it a shot at Fukuryu Ramen, and I’m glad I did. The ramen here was amazing – flavorful and satisfying. I went with a few friends after work, and we had a great time. The vibe was cool and laid-back, and the food came out quickly, which was perfect after a long day. For around $15 to $20, you can get a really good meal that’s both delicious and filling. They also have a great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, which were excellent. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by, even if you’re not typically into ramen.
