My family and I had a solid experience dining here. We enjoyed the variety of sandwiches we ordered. We had a Cheese Steak Hoagie, Old World Italian hoagie, Chicken Finger Hoagie, Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana, and Curly Fries with a side of Cheese Sauce. We selected the seeded rolls for the sandwiches, and they were fresh and crusty, with plenty of support to stand up to the delicious contents of the sandwiches. We felt that the food was a good value for the price.
The store is clean and well organized. There is plenty of wine and beer choices and prepared meals, soups, and other food items in the refrigerator cases to take to-go. Plenty of seating is available if you want to dine, and three restrooms if needed. The staff was friendly, and our order came relatively quickly, given that we walked in to order and they were busy.
Overall, with such pleasant staff, excellent facilities, and delicious food, this is a spot that we will have no problem...
Read more3/30/24 update: I realized that if you take any sandwich and "upgrade" it to a wrap, it's an upcharge but if you order from the "wraps" section, it's actually cheaper then upgrading to a wrap. Strange but that's what it is! Changed from 3 stars to 4 since it is printed in the menu.
The menu here is pretty big, lots to choose from. You can also get alcohol or a small selection of non alcoholic beverages. They also have some dinner platters already made up. I've mostly stuck to the sandwiches/wraps. The pricing is confusing as they don't actually post the prices anywhere. You can look at the paper menu but the prices in there don't reflect what you're charged. A deli wrap is listed as $8.99 but my final total is $12. Not sure why this is but its a very annoying problem since you really don't know what it will cost. Another person got a side of cheese fries, and it was $9! I've been coming here less and less...
Read moreVery friendly and professional staff who really care...not much of that around anymore. You will recognize their faces because they enjoy their job and working for Mr. Civera. Spacious and inviting environment that welcomes you to stay and watch the tele. Now for their food review... EXCELLENT! Their homemade meats are the bomb such as pork, turkey and/or roast beef, seriously...this alone is worth the visit. Then equally interesting is the wide selection of beers...domestic and foreign. I confess, I'm a teetotaler but still interesting. If none of this motivates you the let me tell you about the juiciest homemade meatball sandwich I've ever eaten...well, you try it. And if you don't have time to wait call for pick-up or visit their selection of homemade prepared foods in their freezer. You may have noticed the use of homemade alot in this review...it is not overused. Visit Civera's, I don't think...
