I used to really enjoy this DQ! Recently my orders have been getting messed up. I usually order 2 blizzards, one for me & my husband. Usually there is a topping missing whether it’s the fudge or peanut topping or Reese cups or whatever. It’s been quite annoying because I am paying for these things but not getting what I asked for in my ice cream and by the time I take it home and freeze them, I notice a few things are missing. Tonight was the last straw. We went and I asked for 2 cheesecake large blizzards, one with peanut butter and with fudge. And maybe it was my fault that I did not say “no strawberry filling” bc it comes with that. When the I saw the blizzards with the strawberry filling, I said these were supposed to be filled with fudge and peanut butter, NO STRAWBERRIES. The person threw them away. Him and another person started remaking our order and he handed me the EXACT SAME blizzards with strawberry filling. I was very frustrated because he just throw away the previous order and made it wrong twice. I asked for my money back because I did not understand how you make something second order wrong after I told you the first order was wrong. My husband asked him to make the order correctly. I know these are kids running this place, but when a customer pays for a service, they would like what they request. The children that are working here really need to be taught basic customer service skills such as kindness, saying hello, please and thank you.
Yesterday 6/7/21 was cash only the young lady who waited on me was training someone else she spoke really fast and talked over me thus I didn't hear her say cash only as I was saying hello.
She paused I then repeated myself by speaking once again she rolled her eyes looked away and said HI as another employee walked away laughing.
I placed my order with card in hand, was quoted a price and then told "Today is cash only, thats what I was trying to tell you the first time!
I informed her that I didn't hear her the 1st time and would go retrieve cash.
I returned paid for my order only for it to be incorrect and it needing to be remade. As the oder was being remade I noticed the Cash Only Sign in the upper top window that I had not see before.
Had the sign been at eye level I would have noticed it and just maybe this uncomfortable exchange wouldn't have taken place.
Kindness goes along way and these children are a representation of your company. I understand this maybe their first employment experience however please teach them the skills they need to...
Read moreI went on a Monday at 8pm. There was a few people in front of us but not many. The young man taking our order seemed extremely confused by most of our order. My husband asked for a large chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles.The employee asked him if he meant a milk shake, not understanding that that is the kind of ice cream they sell. We also ordered 2 cones a chocolate with peanuts and a vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. I asked him to put the cones into a bowl to help it travel better. These were not complicated orders. He proceeded to ask us 12 more times what we ordered and still managed to screw it up. Plus, I thought it was weird that the peanuts were whole. I've never seen an ice cream place put whole peanuts on a cone and not crushed peanuts as a topping. There were only about 6-8 peanuts on the whole thing.
