First of all, I would like to say that I have worked off and on at Pizza Odyssey, at this location since 2013. Terry was always my boss and he was wonderful. I was actually a little bit sad to hear that he sold the business. He was a good person and always treated me with respect and almost looked out for me as though I was his own daughter. Anyway with that being said, my roommate and I order consistently every week. I always, well I usually, always get the same thing which is a chicken sandwich deluxe. But I get it on a pita and it comes with lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard. It also comes with coleslaw which I usually don't eat. And then my favorite part is that it comes with a generous helping of French fries. But I've noticed in the last few months, since the business has been bought by another person, that the helpings of fries that come with the deluxe dinners has really been cut almost in half. Before, like I said, you would receive a generous helping of French fries. Now, I have a picture to show but the fries that you receive with this meal only fit in the small compartment in the styrofoam container. Tonight, Before eating. I counted ONLY 32 french fries in that tiny little compartment. I have no complaints about the quality of ANY of Pizza Odyssey's choices and they do boast an enormous menu and many of their items are actually homemade in the store and I know this because I worked there. I won't give away the secrets though. Lol. Please guys. Bring back the generous helpings of the fries in your deluxe meals. That's it, otherwise, my hat is off to you new owner! The transition was well done and Terry had customers who frequented his establishment ALL the way back when he had his store in Pilgrim Gardens. If you could fix this one little issue, I'd be...
Read moreUsed to be one of my go to pizza places, but has had some issues lately, which I was attributing to Covid related difficulties. Today's experience has completely changed that. There are plenty of other decent options nearby.
Placed a phone order for delivery and prepaid with a credit card.
After waiting for more than an hour (Saturday night order, so long but not insane) we check the timing to see we missed a call one minute prior. We call back and are told to wait for the manager because our food has been sitting for awhile with online (we called) takeout (asked for delivery and gave our address) orders. Manager doesnt apologize for their mistake, but says, "so, you want it for delivery?" We respond that we want our order fresh and delivered, just like the order should have been in the first place. Manager assures us they will make it fresh and be on their way.
We get another call a few minutes later asking if we have $2.49 in cash because we weren't charged for delivery.
Food arrives and was clearly just reheated after sitting for the better part of an hour. Soggy fries & dough. Mozzarella sticks that are basically just breaded string cheese.
When it's good, it's good. But when it's bad, it's really bad. Go to Brother's or Township Line or Cocco's or...
Read moreI used to love this place for salads and their pizza, BUT today I went to get a tuna salad salad and was turned off. To begin they got my phone order wrong and made a chicken salad salad. The lady at the front then got snappy with me and asked "I made you chicken, so do you want me to make you a tuna salad salad?" with my response being, yes, because that's what I ordered. She goes to make another salad with her bare hands that she just got done itching her scalp with. I'm sorry but I did not ask for dead skin with my salad. I asked her if they don't wear gloves and her response was "we don't wear gloves, we wash our hands" my response to that was but I just watched you scratch your hair then grab a handful of cucumber. She rolls her eyes and asks "do you want me to wear gloves and make you a new salad?". At this point I should have said no and walked out. But she made the new salad with gloves but I felt too disgusted the even eat it. Ended up wasting food and $9.00. I will not be returning to this place. Poor hygiene, poor customer service, and outright rude...
