So let me 1st say that their food is great, I have never had a problem with that. I've eaten here quite a bit for years and have been very supportive of this business. Sadly this is a customer service issue...and with the manager no less. And it's really not good. What I haven't done a lot of is order from here. So this time I felt a little lazy, so I decided to order a large taco pizza, with no ground meat but mushrooms instead, plus some fries. The food came really quick, which I really appreciated with a hungry family at home. So I paid for my food with a generous tip. Went upstairs to my apt., got my little children settled to eat and opened the box and noticed there wasn't any lettuce on the pizza. So I called back, just to ask why the taco pizza didn't have lettuce on it. I didn't even notice anything else right away. But was quickly told that I ordered a "Mexican" pizza, which I know I did not order. I didn't want to keep going back and forth with it guy who took my order, I just figured I'd eat the pizza no argument no fuss, it happens. Then I tried it and it was one of the hottest pizzas I've ever had in my life! This is no insult to them, I'm sure the people who order this pizza love it, it just wasn't for me, especially since I have a two-and-a-half-year-old who is going to eat this too. So now, I called back to speak to the manager this time. To see if there was something we could do or some way we can remedy the situation. Apparently I was speaking to the manager all along and he was the one who took my order. So I tried to speak about this, and he became extremely rude as soon as he realized I was the one he already spoke to earlier, he was consistently speaking over me or trying to not let me speak at all. So I let him know, again I'm not trying to argue with him I just wanted to know we can do about the situation, considering my family still needs to eat. This place is not that far from me. And I've never had this situation before. I figured maybe he could discount something if I ordered something else, or perhaps give me something like a free dessert or free drink with my meal if I order it again. Nothing crazy. I figured something along those lines would be a great solution. I mean I don't have any money to throw away, and I'm not going to assume that he does either, this is his business. But being unwilling to listen, to reason, that's ridiculous. Even more so with this type of business. I don't know, maybe he had a bad day, maybe he's been stiffed before. Either way, that was really not the way to handle that particular incident. Like I said, this never happened to me before. And they do have good food. But I'm contemplating whether I should even go there anymore. He's obviously a man who worries more about "being right" rather than doing good business. Moral of the story, don't you have a problem with anything or not like something, because what I found out, about the manager was not cool at all. I would've reordered, but his ego preventing that from happening. So I bought something different down the street. And my young children had to wait to eat, while my wife tried to figure out how not to waste the pizza (she couldn't/trashed). I was pissed. And after some thought, I'm not going to eat...
Read moreGot lazy and ordered late on a Friday night, which is always a gamble mid-pandemic, especially with pizza shops on weekends. I often get cancellations and wrong orders etc. and had stopped ordering in if I could help it but i took a chance and overall, I'm glad I did.
Ten mins after my predicted delivery time I still didn't have my order so I called the restaurant, not to be overexpectant but to make sure it was received (this happens more than one would hope but sometimes things happen especially during a rush hour and you dont want to wait til the restaurants closed to figure it out) and im glad i checked because there was some confusion. the owner fixed it right away and had my food made fresh and hot and delivered the food personally and explained the error. a sweetheart.
And the food was great! i got the italian delight pizza which was just heavenly. the salami, divine. roasted red pepper, i think i tasted garlic oil, great crust and cheese, very fresh tomatoes. excellent combo ive not come across before. the cheeseburger was as good as a good pizza shop burger is. fluffy fresh bun, fresh flavor to the meat. fries had nice seasoning as well (some places leave you hanging on that). good customer service and very memorable pizza .. i will be back...
Read moreI'm a long time customer and usually love this place today was my first time ordering online and when I tell you it took over 2 hours but when I called the second time ate the 2 hour mark the lady said the were bagging my items to deliver. as I hung up someone called from the shop claiming that the delivery guy came to my house and called several times which was a lie. And I express that was a lie and that I just spoke to someone. Then he says we don't have any fruit punch what else would you like. So I asked well what did you send the first time y'all came? CRICKETS! Then when the delivery guy finally got here and he call, he was sooo rude. I'm going to assume they were having a terrible day and online ordering is a pain in the butt for them. Did I mention that I ordered a bacon pizza with half pineapples just so they can send me half and half. I'm not even calling back but I will go there personally and go...
