New favorite spot alert!! The Lost Tribe in Upper Darby is truly something special. If you love halal food and a big, satisfying breakfast, you need to check this place out.

The masala potatoes are packed with flavor, the omelet is fluffy with the perfect desi spice, and the French toast and pancakes were soft, sweet, and disappeared from the plate way too fast. The smash burger is excellent too.

The space is beautiful, the team is friendly, and the vibe feels like a mix of a classic diner and a warm desi home kitchen. It feels great knowing we finally have a halal breakfast spot in Upper Darby that really delivers. 👏

Atmosphere was great. The service was okay, but it took a long while before our order was brought out. We ordered the Royal Gol Gappi.... unfortunately they were not royal. We had a lot of difficulty even finishing the dish. It was made without the correct ingredients and included haldi, yogurt, purple cabbage, and for dipping it came with an oily water. I hope the restaurant makes improvements in making it's authentic pakistani dishes. I can't say about any other dishes as I didn't have them. I wish them the best. Also, it wasn't an affordable price for only 8 gol gappy. We paid...

Food was great. Me and the wife has the lamb shank which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We also tried the beef tehari which was generously packed, had hints of mustard oil and was top notch. I wish this endeavor much success as it looks like a lot of effort has been put into making this establishment aesthetically pleasing with the art decor and of course the most important part, the food. Will be trying the karai next when we come with a bigger group as the portions can be shared amongst people...
