Imperial House Restaurant — Restaurant in Upper Darby

My husband ordered here and it was our very first time ordering. We ordered through Grubhub. This will be our first and VERY LAST TIME! It took nearly 2.5 hours for us to receive our order. That Grubhub had to call to see what was going on for us. But no one ever answered the phone. So they refunded us for the order. As they were delivering the food to us my husband was still talking to customer service. The driver came delivered the food. Then a few minutes later came back and complained about us cancelling our order and him needing the food back. We told Grubhub they delivered and customer service was sending the restaurant a credit to keep the food. But the driver wasn't trying to hear what we were telling him. He then called his manager and they were talking in Chinese. He put his manager on speaker and he basically was telling us to give him his food back and being very rude. I never witnessed such mess in my life. And it kind of hurt because my children were looking and crying as I had to give the food back. But they didnt care. Not one bit. I will NEVER do business with this restaurant and I hope they get what they deserve. As for the food, I asked what they would do with it. And the driver didn't have an answer. My assumptions are they would probably resale it to another customer. Which is horrible due to all that's going on with this covid-19. I opened the bag and everything. I'm just very appalled and this situation. And to see that my children didn't get to eat and had to witness us going back and forth with the driver was horrible. The driver even said I could send him $25 through cashapp for the food. I never heard anything like this. I would skip this place seriously! Save your money you'll thank me in the end! ITS...

I made an online order with the store now I’ve lived for over 30 years very close to this location and I’ve been shopping there since they opened, but this past order that I made there was something missing from my order when I arrived home and when I called to tell them, they grilled me They argued with me. They spoke about me in Chinese in front of me while I was there to pick up the food that I paid for that they neglected to put in the bag they made me feel like I had done something wrong or like I was trying to calm them because they had forgotten to include one of my Items I will never ever go there again and I recommend that nobody else does the same...

Me and my family order from this restaurant frequently. The food is always so good and the customer service is amazing. I messed up my order yesterday and thought I ordered what I normally order Shrimp Lo mein however this time I must've pressed the wrong button in doing so these amazing people brought me what I really wanted to eat FREE of charge even though it was my wrong doing. They even left me a beautiful Note. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. This was so nice. I would recommend anyone and everyone who lives in the area to order...
