Mario's Cafe & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Upper Hanover Township

I've lived in Pennsylvania since 2017. Lehigh Valley area. Time and time again I've tried different pizzerias and they all suck. Reading reviews is pointless because I've gone to the places with good reviews and the pizza was garbage. People out here wouldn't know good pizza if it slapped them in the face.

I randomly stumbled across Mario's old location with my son while driving through the area. We both agreed it was the best pizza we had since leaving New York.

I came to their current location months later (we live far away), excited to get a really good slice of pizza again after so long. Sadly, they did not take mobile pay and I don't really carry cash anymore. Disappointed, I canceled my order and headed for the exit. A gentleman, I believe the owner, told the girl at the register to go ahead and give me my order on the house. I thanked him and told him the next time I was in the area, I would stop in and pay him for it. He told me not to worry about it and to just come back and eat there again when I could.

Sure enough, I'm back months later. I place an order, tell the girl at the register my story and ask her to charge me for an additional two slices and a soda from last time. They insist not to worry about it and refuse to charge me for it.

I don't know what the problem is with these other people leaving reviews, but the management and staff are awesome and the pizza is great. Don't listen to these clowns. Mario's is my choice each time. I wish it wasnt an hour away or I'd...

Piss test the young staff for drug or alcohol use, the young guy whacked my order for a small tossed salad w grilled chicken so bad , when I called to ask his name and to also ask why did my order cost $20 bucks, he ran from the phone and gave it to a coworker 👀, please , No return call from nobody at all, Customer Service is ???? The past messy orders was looked over due to the busy place ,but now I see, just sloppy and don’t care , what if you were treated that way or someone u loved 😢it’s not a casino and I should not be loosing money and nothing to show for it during this COVID-19 no work and no pay check days and still willing to support neighborhood franchise, I see ya reviews this evening because I had a reason to look, if you know it’s a problem at this place, just fix it , don’t allow innocent people to be tormented . Writing a response is not a fix....

Literally the worst delivery service ever. Ordered at 519pm. Called at 630pm when the food wasn’t here, and they said “he just left with it”...it’s now 645pm and still not here. Called a 3rd time and they have no clue where the driver is. Don’t lie to get people off the phone. Done with this place for OK food.

The driver also claimed they called the phone number on our account which is the same number on Slice and Paypal. The phone didn't ring once, (but somehow someone from Marios was able to call us back after they contacted the driver…so someone has the right and only number we have ever provided). So he left it on the door step, invisible pizza never tasted so good.

Also they did NOTHING to rectify the situation at all it was “oh sorry”…maybe you offer to remake the food and get it out, simple solution perhaps. No It was oops on to the next...
