This place is located on the corner so from the front it kinda looks like a house you can sit on the front porch on the rocking chairs and hv a drink. You go around the back that’s where parking is and the entrance. The food was amazing. The coffee was good. I also kind of wish they had other options for sides instead of just fries, onion rings, sweet potato tater tots maybe some type of vegetables would’ve be nice. I chose to sit outside which was pretty. It would really help if they had bug fans on their tables. I had a problem with bugs the entire time I was eating so that was a little bit uncomfortable, but I definitely recommend this place.

Nice bar/restaurant that serves comfort food. Portions are large, prices are fair/cheap for the portions. All of the wait staff were on top of their game with fast and friendly service. The kid's enjoyed classic chicken tenders and burgers with fries. We started off with the Hungry Man sampler which was very filling. The seafood combo was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The oreo brownie sundae was good for 4 people. 5 stars Edited. Super fast service, delicious hot food. Our server Carrie was just wonderful

Very cool place to have dinner. Their menu has great variety, and everyone at our table enjoyed what they got. Our waitress was very friendly. The bar area can be a little rowdy, but they have dining rooms that are more laid back. My only complaint is that I didn’t realize the french onion soup would be made with beer (since it wasnt written on the menu), and didn’t end up liking it. Otherwise, my hot chocolate was delicious, and it was a great dinner location.

Happen to be my 1st time going there last night (8-21-24) after a late doctor's appointment. It's quite the sight from the outside. Inside, not bad either. When I 1st walk in, all I saw was the bar, which was fully seated as well as all the hightop tables surrounding, but apparently off to the left there was another room with more tables. We were quickly sat down on a 4 top at the rear of this room. 8:25p From this angle, you could see yet another room further back in the cut, much older looking. Interesting but pleasant decore, all in all.

This is where things turn a bit. After a few mins, our order was taken. 8:30 No problem. Few moments after that, the salad start came for my date. Then could've easily been 40 plus mns with no other contact or update. All tables around us got their food. While I don't recall when the food arrived, I know we left at 9:35p. It didn't take long for us to scarf down as we at in silence. 10 mns tops, I would imagine.

The food was awesome. Definitely, great tasting, decent amount while looking delicious. I ordered the breaded shrimp, with mashed potatoes seasoned with sage & butter, & fries. The potatoes were off the hook. Flavor profile & consistency just chef's kiss🤌🏻🤌🏻 My date had the Haddock & Sweet Potatoes. The latter weren't too bad either. I'm picky about how my sweet taters are cooked, but these were up my alley too. Made into bite sized nuggets.

I will try this place again. The food deserves more tasting & hopefully the service will be better next time.

BTW, food prices are beyond reasonable, especially in...

I am giving this place 1 Star even though I never tried the food! I was up visiting my son and his girlfriend at Kutztown and decided to try this place after a few good recommendations. We got there early Saturday around 4:00 and it wasn't busy. We walked in and the hostess seemed rushed. She finally got to us and I asked if we could sit outside. She said just take the first table to the left. Nobody walked us out so we all sit outside at the table which was right my the door to go in. Keep in mind we had 6 people with 4 of us over the age of 21. We sat there chatting away from 15-20 minutes and not one person even acknowledged we were there. No drinks, no waters, no "het we will be right with you" as they passed us going in the door. I finally got the attention of a server and asked if anyone was waiting our table. She said she was and kept walking. Ok. Sat there for another 5-10 minutes with nobody coming to the table. 25-30 minutes with nobody even saying "hi" to us. We got up and left, still no one person asked why we were leaving. I can just imagine how slow the service would have been if we ordered. Drove 10 minutes down the road to A1 and spent my $300 elsewhere. Was offered a drink as soon as I walked in and sat at a table in 6 minutes. No matter how good the food is, you can NOT beat good service. Unfortunately, this placed...

The food is great, and the servers are excellent, however their management is slimy. I run a non-profit which hosts educational events each month. Our original deal was I could use their back room (so not to bother anyone) on their lowest night, once a month for my 40-60 people that come. After a few months management (Carol) started to complain. First, they said we were slamming their kitchen with too many orders, so we went to a limited menu. Then they claimed one of the servers did not get tipped so we went to automatic 18% gratuity. Then they claimed our group was too big, so we split it up into two groups (with one at another establishment). This brought us down to a group size of 20-30 people. Then Carol claimed our group was too small and would have to charge us 200 dollars if we ever fell below 20 people in an evening. So, we unfortunately had to leave. I would advise anyone who hosts corporate events (or equivalent) not to...
