We were part if a large family group booking a block of rooms for a wedding. The wedding was on a Sunday at 3 pm so most of the family checked in on Saturday so we could have an unhurried day to prepare for the service. HOWEVER.... when we checked in on Saturday we were greeted with a sign that told us that the hotel would not have running water from noon to 2 pm on Sunday. I asked the desk ckerk when they knew if this and they saud it just came up that morning. I was not convinced, if it was an emergency it would have been done immediatly and if it was scheduled maintanance they didn't tell us so we had no chance to rebook somewhere else. The lack of honest communication was appaling. You can imagine how all the ladies in our group felt when they learned that there would be no showers, toilets, tooth brushing or hand washing for the 2 hours leading up to when we had to go to a wedding.|I asked if management was going to do anything to compensate us for the gross inconveniance and was bluntly told "NO!". Unsurprisingly there was no manager available to speak with us...quite convenient for them.|Apparently once the Marriot corporation has your money you are of no concern. Now shut up and go away.|Our room was fine while the water worked.|On Sunday morning most of our group went to the buffet breakfast in the restaurant. 20$ per person with cold and cold options. It was among the worst breakfast buffets we had ever had. The pancakes and hash browns had obviously been recycled through several cycles and were nearly petrified. Both the omelettes and scrambled eggs were congealed and unpleasant. The pastries were fresh and quite good. |When we got to the restaurant there was a sign that said please wait to be seated, after 5 minutes we seated our selves and then a server came to my table and said, " Four buffets, heres your check." and laid the tab for our party if 4 on the table. Not a greeting or an offer of coffee or a how can I help you. |The actual water shutdown lasted just over an hour later that day, from noon to just after 1 pm. Bottled water was available in the lobby which was small consolation to our party.|This is probably not a typical day for this hotel. If it was they would be out of business. I am extremely disappointed by how we were treated...

Read moreStayed here for 3 months while attending LCCC for Mechatronics and Robotics. I was very skeptical living at any hotel, for 3 months. I’ve never done that before. Delta Marriot exceeded my expectations. I walked in at check in and I was immediately greeted with open arms (even at 10pm) The staff at the front desk always greet anyone walking by the desk with a smile, which is very important and almost rare anymore. I can’t speak for all upcoming stays but as far as my staying here for Amazon for 3 months, my room has a microwave, a mini fridge, a small couch, a 50” swivel TV to stream or watch Cable. You can plug your firestick in the TV port or just login to Netflix using your own credentials, just don’t forget to log out before you leave your stay. They have a great work station with umpteen USB ports all around the room. No charger block needed if you forget it lol. A small coffee maker which I was able to unplug to use my own coffee maker. The rooms were recently renovated to fit 2024 times. This is a non-smoking facility. The only place I seen where it’s allowed is out front or out in the deck above the pool. As far as Amazon Cohorts go, they serve breakfast daily for free. A nice big spread too. When I walked out to breakfast, two women greeted me by first name, which shows a ton of character and customer obsession. There is a “Cohort study room” down stairs with a few TVs, microwaves, air fryer, tables, chairs, couches, ect for the study groups to get a change of scenery to help studying.
Marriot continues to improve & impress me every time I stay as a Marriot member.
Showers are amazing. The only thing that is more of a challenge with me staying here for 3 months is, lack of clothing storage. There’s 1 drawer and a teeny closet with about 5 hangers, ironing board and a safe. I brought my own hangers which helped tremendously, otherwise I’d be literally living out of a suitcase. They have a full bar when you walk in, with TVs with sports on. Overall- this has been an...
