Truffle Bar — Restaurant in Upper Macungie Township

Finally indulged myself and bought a few items at the Truffle Bar. Not a great idea when you are on a successful quest to better health may I add.

I purchased 5 different items.

Salted Caramel. Dark chocolate filled with Caramel. It was very good and definitely not too sweet at all.

Strawberry something, maybe shortcake, OMG fabulous 👌 Bursting with flavor.

Blueberry pie, a little sweet even for me. Honestly didn't taste a lot of Blueberry but it was delicious nonetheless.

Some other Blueberry something. Round puck like, very very pretty visually. This was similar in taste to the Blueberry pie one. Very sweet. Couldn't really taste Blueberry.

Toffee and chocolate covered large pretzel. The pretzel itself is light not too heavy and dense. Personally, I would prefer milk chocolate but if you like dark chocolate and it's sharpness (slightly bitter as with all dark chocolate) you will enjoy the pretzels. I just found the bitter dark chocolate overwhelming and found it hard to taste the toffee.

Definitely recommend stopping in and grabbing some handcrafted made on site treats. The kitchen is right there for all to see.

The shop is elegant and refined. The owners Son is an excellent choice to have up front. He's very professional and knows his product.

UPDATED 4 MONTHS AFTER MY FIRST VISIT.

Stopped by today, August 14 to get a box of truffles for a party Im having in Canada on August 23. Plus of course a few extra items to nibble on OR inhale on the way. Definitely have my favorite items as I try them visit by visit. The Blueberry pie truffle is still a good to. The dipped Oreo cookies are all fantastic. Loved the square dipped marshmallows! I'd love a SKOR dipped version just saying. The young man behind the counter, not the same one as last time was FANTASTIC! Very professional and knew his product line well.

We had a birthday party for our daughter at the Truffle Bar. Brooke and Ryan (and their son!) were wonderful hosts. The girls had so much fun! We live 5 minutes away and I don't know WHY we haven't stopped in here before now! Wow, the chocolates we bought are absolutely decadent. Everything we have tried so far has been wonderful. My personal favorite is the cookie butter "Dubai bar". What a great assortment of pretzels, Oreos, truffles!...
