Indoor dining review
We came here for my Birthday, since we've been to other restaurants in the KOP area and the experiences has been solid. Sadly this was not one of them... I had high expectations with restaurant's outdated website strongly suggested: Business casual attire.
Restaurant: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Food: 2/5 Parking: Free parking lot
Restaurant From the outside the restaurant looks like an old diner that needed a fresh coat of paint. But as soon as you walk in there's a nice display of mirrors and a small cellar of wine. We went on a Saturday night, so it is not uncommon for most restaurants to be busy. However if one advertises themselves as fine dining, I did not expect 2 groups of customers to wait at the hostess stand for 3 minutes. When we finally got to our table, the tables are setup far too close to each other, it makes the Atmosphere very loud and you can almost hear everyone's conversation. It is hard to make it a "Romantic" dining experience, when it resembles more of an Olive Garden restaurant. With that being said at least tables are clear.
Service There must be only one waiter working that night with 3-4 food runners. Because we did not see anything else taking orders or check on customers apart from that one person. So it is no surprise that our waiter came to take our order and was nowhere to be found until we're ready to leave. But I do appreciate the food runners came and make sure our glasses of water is full.
Food We ended up both ordering Surf and Turf, with steak cooked in different temperature and with different sides. I ordered the steak mid-rare (which it was not). The restaurant charges you $40 for a Surf and Turf that had Filet Mignon already cut up, and didn't even bother letting it rest. Presumably to make the steak look bigger on the plate? because the steak looked like it was barely 3oz, and the 3 pieces of Shrimp that looked more pitiful than the frozen shrimp you get at the grocery store, and tasted not so great, it is like chewing on rubber. The steak was not mid-rare and the sauce was overcooked, tasted burnt and bitter. Most restaurant's Surf and Turf are usually Steak with lobster tail with that price.
Only positive about the food we ordered was the Lobster Bisque that came out within 2 minutes of us ordering.
In conclusion: Yeah... it is a big NO for me. If you want to spend high dollars for a Fine dining or just a good dining experience in KOP area, do yourself a favor and drive less than a mile down mall blvd and go to any one of these excellent restaurants (Seasons 52, Eddie V's, Sullivan's Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, Bonefish Grill and so many other much...

Creeds used to be one of my favorite places to eat in the king of prussia area, but after going last night with my husband to eat there for the first time since the new Chef has been there, sadly it is no longer a favorite. We’ll stick with Eddie V’s when we want an upscale seafood and steak dinner in the king of Prussia area, it’s much better food for about the same price.
My husband ordered a crab cake to start and said it was very good, probably the best thing he ate while we were there. For our entree I ordered the rack of lamb since the server said people tell him it’s the best lamb they’ve ever had and I love lamb, and he was kind enough to sub the mashed potatoes for mushrooms since I don’t love mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the maomao fish special and we got the lobster Mac and cheese to share. I can definitely say the lamb was not the best I’ve ever had; I didn’t care for the crust they put on it at all and ended up scraping it off, although the sauce they served with it was very good. The asparagus was bland and I normally love asparagus, but the mushrooms were a fantastic substitution, they were by far the best thing I ate the whole night. My husbands fish was well cooked although very bland when eaten just by itself, it needed the salsa it was served with to have any flavor. The shrimp on top of it was good because it just tasted like a big bite of butter. The rice they served with it was fine, and the green beans were totally bland. Mac and cheese is a personal favorite of mine and I order it at all of the high end steak houses, whether it’s with lobster or truffle or whatever. This one was my least favorite of the ones I’ve tried. It tasted like processed cheese sauce.
We decided to share the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. We each had a few bites and decided that was enough, it was fine but not great. Definitely not worth the calories.

Read moreI went to Creed's and have a lot to say:
Food - the steak and venison, absolutely delicious. All appetizers and sides were honestly sub-par from a quality standpoint. Felt very reheated/frozen. Better oysters at Legal Seafoods and they're a chain.
Service - this is my main gripe. I realize creed's touts itself as a fine dining establishment, so as expected we followed the dress code. However, we were not what I would call their typical clientele (younger professionals, some visible tattoos, a single piercing) and I felt a general 'cold' vibe from the staff. It was a number of factors: The bartender gave us a flabbergasted "You're going to the restaurant?" when entering. Weird but fine, maybe overthinking it. (We had a reservation FYI). Hostess did not seem very pleased to see us entering when we stated we didn't want a wine menu and just cocktails. Again, maybe overthinking it. But the nail in the coffin, was just how short all of the waitstaff were with us throughout...We felt very rushed throughout our entire meal. Asking for an additional few minutes seemed to annoy the waitstaff and we were repeatedly asked if we were done and had our plates attempted to be cleared multiple times before finishing. Once we got to the end of our meal, we were asked 3 times in rapid succession if we were ready to wrap up after declining a dessert menu.
It is honestly one of the weirdest dining experiences I've had in a while and just felt off-putting. We've been to plenty of 'fine-dining' establishments across the country, many of a (opinion) higher caliber and never felt like we didn't belong. I realize there's a retirement community nearby who are likely their primary customer-base, but I felt very unwelcome.
Will not return and would not recommend. Flemings in Radnor was significantly better in every way. 2-stars for the good entrees,...
