Weâve been here several times for our two kids. Itâs an incredible resource for the community, and Iâm leaving a review because the fact that it has such a low aggregate review⌠hurts, a little bit. That being said, there are couple things you should consider/know before going in!
If you go on a weekend or during peak hours you will wait a very long time.
I truly feel like you can wait a long time because they care about the quality of care you receive. Weâve never felt rushed or pushed off, and the doctors and staff have all been wonderful with our kids (and weâre talking tough toddlers).
You can register online ahead of time, to try to save some time waiting.
If I know or strongly suspect whatâs wrong with my kid, and it seems like heâs just going to need an antibiotic, or I want to get him tested for flu/covid⌠I donât go here. I treat this as a higher level of care than a regular urgent care, because of the wait and thoroughness of treatment.
We just brought our child in today when they opened at 2pm. We got in right away, but the care was so thorough we were still there for 2 hours! No extraneous waiting, but a thorough evaluation, some albuterol to identify if we NEEDED an x-ray, then an x-ray when that ended up being needed. We left with a walking pneumonia diagnosis, and our 3-year old saying âI like the doctor!â After having to use an inhaler, be gently held down on an x-ray table, etc. Dr. Hayes and the whole staff were wonderful. We feel very fortunate to be 30 minutes away from this...

Read moreWe brought our almost 2 year old to urgent care on 6/17/25 based on the recommendation from a nurse triage line when we called CHOP primary care to schedule a sick visit. The facility is nice, check in was smooth, we were the only ones in the waiting area, and the nurse called us back immediately. But unfortunately, we waited 45 minutes after the nurse took vitals to be seen by Dr Jennifer Buchanan. It did not seem busy so I donât understand why it took so long to be seen. I also donât understand why Dr Buchanan is in pediatrics with such poor bedside manner. She was passive aggressive with her comments to us and was unclear/confusing with instructions for what positions to put our child in for the 5-minute exam. Then she had the audacity to act annoyed and make us feel stupid when we didnât understand. We left with a diagnosis of âviral crudâ in the same breath of âpossible pneumonia, but I would hear it and I donâtâ but we can get a chest x-ray to be sure. (No thanks. If youâre downplaying her symptoms so much, why would I want to be charged an unknown amount of money for an x-ray?) I donât even think we wouldâve been offered a dose of Motrin and a popsicle had I not pushed for more answers. Also, pediatric providers should know that if you bring my 2 year old a popsicle, my 3 year old is going to want one, too. The nurse heard my 3 year old asking for one but didnât offer to bring one which I thought was rude. The whole thing felt like a waste of time and money with a...
