Went there on Thursday night, there were 5 of us. They say us at a 4 top. I requested a bigger table as we would not fit with all food the drinks the hostess was not happy. We then placed our appetizers and dinners. 2 got all you can eat deals. The appetizers came out good then the food came out. We had to place all of our food from the apps in a pile for them to be taken. The all you can eat boneless wings are pieces of chicken fingers coated or at least ours were. They were over cooked and hard. The waiter came back eventually and we said can we have another option he saw the plate of the chicken still there and said sure what do you want we said you can't bite these they are so old his response oh ok what else do you want to try. I was speechless. My 5 year old got the chicken fingers kids meal. The chicken was so hard he could not bite through. I ended up just sharing my fettuccine Alfredo with him because I already knew nothing was going to be done. Again when the waiter came he asked if my son was done a full plate of food and we said yeah but again no questions as to why food is not being eaten. The shrimp was good but make sure you get this first as my husband got this his 2nd time and he for 5 pieces of the fried shrimp. Again all you can eat but when the waiter doesn't come often it is hard to get more food that you are paying for. Our bill totalled 104.00 but really only 3 of us got to eat what they wanted ( we paid for all 5 Obviously) we did leave a 20 tip though as I won't take quality of food out on the server but the server certainly didn't care if the food was good or not. We always went to the Doylestown Applebee's. So disappointing with the...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ANY ALLERGIES OR INTOLERANCES. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We came in to celebrate my father's 63rd birthday. Our server Becky was very sweet the whole time but first, our spinach and artichoke app came out and was finished, before my parents salads came out. Ordered another round of drinks from the bar. Entrees came out but my Oriental Salad was missing. Still no drinks. They got halfway done before my salad came out. Still no drinks. They finally came out after all our plates were empty.
For my entree I asked if I could do the Oriental Salad GLUTEN FREE and with grilled chicken. I'm writing this after having left, feeling sick. Upon looking up your nutrition facts the noodles on the salad aren't gluten free.... I've served for 9 yrs... I KNOW when someone has an allergy you RING IT IN. Second, it may be my fault for not knowing but I KNOW you give menu tests to employees and your servers and kitchen staff, which this dish got by...went out to someone with an allergy. Your servers and kitchen staff should be knowledgeable about potential allergy risks and have suggestions.
I understand the mats underneath for hot plants but really you should consider a different material as ours were caked with food that wasn't ours.
Servely disappointed for a nice...
Read moreThis weekend was my first visit to this location. It will also be my last. My coworker and I brought in two individuals with special needs around 2pm. We stood there for approximately 45-60 seconds while the hostess stared at our individuals. She never greeted us. My coworker spoke to her first and simply said, thereâs 4 of us. She walked me and my individual to the table, (the other went to the restroom), and continued to stare at him as if he was on display. I was upset at this point, but didnât say anything. We got up to go to the bathroom and coming back, she was once again fixated on him and staring intently at him. He may not have noticed, but I did. I asked her to âplease stop staring at himâ. She said âIâm sorryâ. She knew she was guilty. I was very uncomfortable and very disheartened. I ordered an appetizer and ended up taking it home. I lost my appetite due to the ignorance of this employee. She was so much more interested in making us uncomfortable, staring and not even greeting us when we walked in, like we were beneath the rest of the guests because their needs. I will never return to Applebeeâs and will share my experience with all of my friends, colleagues and social media as well. Teach this employee about diversity...
