I have a 3 for food as they have tons of fish items but could make it more shell fish allergy friendly. Example, they had gumbo and jambalaya with all seafood. I asked to make the jambalaya or gumbo with only chicken and andouille sausage, I was told no. Yes, they are a scratch kitchen, but only for the things they pre make apparently?

Next, our servers switched mid shift. Not a huge deal, but weird. Our original server had to leave.

Following, a manager asks how it’s going, and we responded with we put another drink order in, she walked away, right by the drinks on the bar and, we waited another 5 minutes for the drinks that were ours on the bar.

Now the reason for a 1 star review…our food came out. The sever had a wrong item in only because one of us changed their mind while order. He acknowledged the change and we thought it was taken care of. The food comes out and the item that was cancelled shows up. The server said it was his mistake and the correct food was brought out about 10 minutes later. Totally understand mistakes happen, the manager came out and apologized, said it would come off the bill. We said no problem (meaning the delay) and she took that for I’ll charge you.

The bill came out with a two things wrong.

A missing item 100% taken off and the item that should have been removed wasn’t. We bring it to the attention of the server, we give our cards (we were equally splitting the bill). The bill comes out thinking they would do what they said and they never took off the item.

The item that should have been removed was 32.00. Not a problem Bloom decided to run our cards with the incorrect amount, so we decided to eat it, and tipped the 20% (as we should) and vowed to never go back.

We did bring this to the attention of the manager after only to express our displeasure, but only then would she give us a gift certificate.

We opted to not accept and told her we will never go back. I do hope it was worth it for them. I’m sure they will they will be fine but the three couples in attendance tonight will be sure to tell everyone our stellar experience @Bloom non scratch...

Fiancé and I put reservations in 2 weeks prior to dining for brunch. Specifically requested for 12 people total and was told accommodations would be taken care of accordingly. Upon the day of the brunch the first party of 3 (Myself, fiancé, and mother in law) arrived 30 minutes early to let them know everyone would be arriving soon. We were told our reservation had been turned into 3 tables of 2 for the porch area. We were greeted with some very negative reactions on telling the General Manager that we had 11 people and an 18 month old coming. The hostess was very unaccomadating to our requests even when reservations had been checked on 2x since initially reserving the group setting. She told my fiancé that she must have messed up the online reservation. All processes were done over the phone. No need to be rude to your paying customers. We all had to sit separately after being told 12 was capacity for the room. No big deal. 10 minutes later a group of 8 came in and were all sat together in an open area. Luckily the waitress Amy was the only saving grace at this place. Don't order the country fried steak. Unless you like leather and bland gravy. I won't be returning. Fortunately for Bloom, today was a special day that had been planned for quite awhile and nowhere in the area would've taken us in on short notice. We almost walked out before the rest of the party arrived. Hopefully the owner reads this, and I hope they choose to reiterate to their staff that quality food and service will keep them open. Not just fancy decor and good drinks because the food didn't live up to the standards set. We will not be returning, sadly because the hopes for this establishment was very high. First impressions count. Sorry Bloom, take care and we wish you well in your...

The food experience should be negative. We made reservations for Father's Day the day before and had no issues getting in. We were seated quickly at our table.

Waitress came over in an acceptable time and took the drink orders and brought them over fairly quickly.

We ordered appetizers: deviled eggs ($9) were good bread assortment ($15, I think) which was good but expensive, 3. mac and cheese ($12) was the smallest amount possible and cool at best. These all took way to long time to come out.

Entrees took forever to come out One chicken and waffles ($28) were good; the other chicken and waffles came out 20 minutes after everyone had their dinner and it was burned on the outside but ok on the inside. Jambalaya ($34) had one clam, 4 shrimp with tails on and was missing scallops and sausage, tons of okra. 2 patrons had short ribs ($34) which wasn't enough for a child and the mashed potatoes were cold and the string beans were not cooked Salmon ($36) which again was a child's portion and green beans were raw.

The table next to us ordered a grilled cheese ($11) for one of their kids and it came out burnt and should not have been sent out. The patron actually went towards the kitchen with it to complain. It took 20 minutes for a replacement to come out.

They comped us a few appetizers and in reality, the entire meal should have been comped.

The manager did apologize and said they were over worked in the kitchen, if that was going to be a problem they should not have taken our reservation. We could have gone to a fast-food restaurant which would have been better.

They have some good reviews and some horrible reviews, so you never know what a good day is to go and what...

We discovered Bloom in Chester Springs while going out for our 21st anniversary, and wow—what an amazing find! It’s southern comfort food with a flair, and the decor strikes the perfect balance between homey and chic (and they have the nicest restaurant bathroom I’ve ever seen). Happy hour is definitely the way to go here—you can snag great deals on both food and drinks. Our waitress/bartender Emily was an absolute gem—super sweet, friendly, and attentive. She chatted with us throughout the evening and made a killer mojito. We started with the Nashville deviled eggs, which had a unique seasoning twist that really set them apart. I had the Florida Mango Salmon, quite possibly the best salmon I’ve ever eaten—I’m dying to know the seasoning they use! My husband got the Pimento Cheese Double Smashburger, and it was out of this world. For dessert, the strawberry shortcake bread pudding was very good, but the monkey bread was next-level amazing. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and unforgettable food—we’ll definitely be back!

Service was great and the food was very good as well. The menu is full of great choices; however, the menu does not state that the burgers comes with fries. This caused us to order extra sides like the duck fat potatoes, brussel sprouts and fries. The brussel sprouts were amazing, the smash burger was good, the chicken and waffles were good, both the classic and crab eggs Benedict very delicious. The gumbo and duck fat potatoes were ok. It was not very flavorful. And the cornbread was way too brittle and impossible to eat cause the whole thing just crumbled into nothing. Edit: owner states burgers does not come specifically with fries, but with a side. This makes the situation even worse, cause that means our waitress just brought fries out with the burgers without asking us what sides we wanted. Had she asked us that 1) it would have informed us that the burgers does come with sides since the menu does not and 2) we could have saved money by choosing the sides of our choice and not order extra unnecessary sides.

What a beautiful restaurant, amazing food and excellent staff! We started with the Cheese and Charcuterie Board - it was phenomenal. We enjoyed three different cheeses - Conestoga goat from misty creek, equinox from birchrun hills farm and cloth bound cheddar from alpine heritage creamery. Coupled with the cheeses were three delicious meats - spicy coppa, souccisson sec, and smoke and whiskey. The board also featured fresh pear, a fresh made biscuit with peach jam, candied pecans, dried apricots, raisins and dates and rosemary crackers. Next we enjoyed pickled fried green tomatoes which were surprisingly fantastic! We also tried the skillet cornbread. This was our least favorite part of the meal. The cornbread did not taste like cornbread and the butters that were served with it, did not match the description. Finally, we finished our meal with the monkey bread which was absolutely wonderful. All in all, the experience was excellent and the food was delicious.
