My wife had the mac and cheese along with some meat balls. All were good as expected.

I had the Italian sourdough panini. Flavors were very good. The issue was the sourdough was closer to un-toasted bread. The second issues was all the ingredients were piled in the center of the sandwich which leaves the outside half inch or more of the bread with nothing between.

So, more toasting and spread the ingredients evenly across the bread/toast to have a balanced sandwich. 13 aug 2018 **

This is about the food. I continue to be disappointed in the sandwiches at Wawa. The management seams not to train their employees properly, or do not oversee their workers.

I used Wawa for a quick sandwich regularly (several times a week). I then dropped to weekly, monthly and now I'am at maybe quarterly. My wife dropped WaWa sandwiches entirely. First WaWa dropped liverwurst. Second she now only orders mac and cheese or meatballs in a cup as a result because of the following.

The employees don't seam to have the ability to cut the sandwiches squarely, at a right angle, cross cut or in any proper way on a regular basis.

I've asked management a long time ago about not cutting their sandwiches on a bias, angle, miter, compound miter.

Reason:

When one cuts a sandwich at an angle of any kind, the contents of the product are not able to remain between the bread and thus fall out leaving one to eat bread and the contents with a fork or ones fingers.

I've had upwards of one third to one half of my sandwich fall out onto the wrapper. It appears Wawa management wants quantity rather then quality. Training or supervision is what is needed for the employees.

The contents appear to be, and taste of a good quality. It is just the regular mess I receive (approximately three quarters of the time) after I've unrolled the sandwich fifteen to twenty minutes drive time away from where I bought the sandwich.

Hence this bad sandwich review.

P.S. I will give them a try or two more, and if no improvement, then off the sandwich buyers...

I have always loved going to wawa for their food, whether it’s snacks or from the deli. On my lunch break I ordered pick up. I had a chicken wrap which was good, but that’s not the problem. I ordered 3 beef jerky sticks with it. I opened the first one, and bit into it. I said “oh this doesn’t taste normal” I looked at it closely and it is COVERED in mold. Instantly started throwing up. I looked at the other 2 sticks I bought and sure enough, mold. I called the manager and she seemed like it wasn’t a concern that they gave me moldy cheese without checking, not just one, 3.. I was offered a refund for the beef sticks next time I came in, and that the beef sticks will be checked and taken off the floor. I am very disappointed because why are you not throwing the expired and old ones away to avoid...

Extremely disappointed with the service I received on the 22nd of November. After getting my large drink and cheese pretzel. I went to the register and a employee named Joshua scanned my order. The order was $3.69 but I accidentally handed $3 instead of $4. The employee startled me by yelling "Are you trying to jib me son?" Not realizing what I did, I laughed it off not understanding why he said that. I then handed him the extra dollar and he threatened that he will be taking the pretzel for the inconvenience. The unprofessional dialog by the employee was extremely disrespectful. Needless to stay I took my money back and will no longer be stopping at this store.
