One of my favorite vegan restaurant in the city. Nice place for lunch, a lot of good options and they also have some special for the week. Sometimes they have live music. I love this place.

Black Bean Burger grilled homemade patty made of sweet potato, black beans, millet, cilantro, onions, oats, herbs & spices, served on a toasted ciabatta bun with avocado, tomato, southwest ranch and lettuce, served with a side salad of lettuce, cucumber, carrot, onion, and your choice of dressing.
Falafel Pita Sandwich Hummus, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, baked falafel and creamy dressing. Served in a warm pita and with El Milagro tortilla chips or fresh fruit. Vegan.

   Read moreso we walk up to this very deserted-looking building, we go up the stairs. the door is closed, so we open it, to about a meter-sized hallway, mostly taken up by a folding chair. behind a curtain looks to be an upstairs and then another door goes downstairs, while yet another door is an office (?). we definitely smelled food, so we yelled 'hello' several times and heard movement but no one responded. we stopped by in their very short open hours, so there definitely should've been someone there to attend to us, or at least whoever was cooking should've put a sign that they were closed. after about ten minutes of trying to yell up and down stairs, we gave up. really...

I joined the organizing team because it was such a home for me when I was vegan and even as carnivorous as I am these days, it continues to serve up delicious food. Outgoing chef Adrienne Weber has been extremely innovative with creating the new menu and the Vegan Fusion Dinners Wednesday nights have featured all kinds of yummy fusion creations spanning regions all over the world.
