So I placed an order with rhis Papa John's a few weeks ago, and I requested no green peppers on my pizza because my daughter is allergic to them. When the pizza csme my daughter answered the door and took the order, without paying attention, she bit into a slice and it had green peppers on it. I called the papa John's that I ordered from and the woman manager told me that she would send out a replacement pizza and that she would also give me a credit for a free large pizza. Becsuse of the situation. I just called in to redeem my order and some so called assistant GM told me that he could give me my pizza because they do one or the other not both. I explained that I think she did that because of the situation because my daughter is allergic. And he told me well ma'am I'm sorry I can't redeem that credit. I explained to him that I used to work for many pizza companies and I know protocol and bottom line you don't believe me and I'm going over your head because this is bad customer service. I will not be spending anymore money at this store. That GM does not need to be working in customer relations. And I will be calling corporate tomorrow morning. Because my daughter did get sick and I told myself, well the manager was very friendly and she did try and fix the situation the best way that she could . But now I'm taking this as far as I can take it. What happened to the customer is always right. I could have ordered a pizza (which I was) to go with that pizza but nevermind.. If you find out that the assistant GM is there don't go to that Papa John's. He's very rude and obviously don't care about...
Read moreThe thing that stood out to me the most about this restaurant was the Comrodery and teamwork of the employees. Everyone talked together, laughed with each other, and enjoyed each other's work and presence. Nobody was mistreated or left out. I as a customer buying pizza could tell that if I worked a job I'd love to work here because you don't normally see a kind, fair, welcoming atmosphere of team members even employed with disabilities working together. The kitchen was clean as well, and it was cool to watch how they made the pizzas. I'd say the only downside was the cashier checking us out seemed to manipulate us into buying more even after we checked and told him several times we were only buying 1 pizza and 1 thing of breadsticks. I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding, but either way, we paid for more and came home with more than what we ordered. Working on communication skills and honesty to customers would be a skill I believe this place should work on to train their cashiers. The food was fabulous and delicious, and I wouldn't mind coming back to order from here or another Papa John's again. They have better pizzas than any other pizza place we've been to. Website's system would not allow me to enter apartment number, so added to delivery instructions and restated contactless request. 40min after order, online tracker shows driver has arrived. No attempted delivery. An hour after order, tracker shows order delivered. Nothing delivered. Restaurant calls to get unit number, even though included in deliv instructions. Take dog out, get back and still no food an hour and a half after order. Call restaurant back, employee states driver attempted delivery but no answer, so she left. Employee hangs up on me. Call store back, inform 2nd employee of list of problems on this order so far. Employee interrupts to say "Okay, ya done?" Informs me Papa Johns is not honoring contactless free delivery at this time and that they're also apparently not giving the delivery instructions to the driver. Canceled order with employee #2 as the service here is severely lacking, got more attitude for not wanting to support a business that doesn't know how to apologize and take accountability for its mistakes.
