I've been coming to this Wendy's since I moved to the area, and in the past, the service has been usually been adequate and the food prepared as expected. HOWEVER, in the last few months there must have been a new set of kids switched in for the dinner shift, and my orders have never been completely right since and the service slow. During the drive-thru ordering at the machine, the information shows up correctly, but when I get to the window or get home and check my food, it's not right. Tonight, my order was supposed to include a cherry sprite mix (which I've ordered from this location and others numerous times), but I received a drink that had no red color as usual, and tasted like only sprite . When I asked the kid about it, he said "that's the way it came out" ... and ... "nobody's ever ordered that before". I told him I order it all the time, and he continued to say "well, it's never been on my shift". Another guy came to check out the machine and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Not wanting to keep the line held up (especially since they still had another customer waiting in front of me who didn't get his food at all, I told them nevermind, and kept the sprite. I checked that I had the right number of sandwiches and fries, nuggets etc, and drove off --- Not knowing their incompetence, and that I should've actually opened the bags and checked the sandwiches, too. One jr bacon cheeseburger sandwich was missing mayo and ketchup. Another sandwich was supposed to be a bbq cheeseburger with added bacon (which they certainly charged me for), and there was literally nothing on it except dry bread and cheese (no sauce, no onions, no bacon!). These kids need more training and should not be on the dinner rush shift messing up orders like this. IF I ever decide to go back I'm not going to hesitate to hold up the line until every bit of what I paid...
Read moreI don't have very high standards when ordering fast food, but the staff here need some serious improvement. Avoid this location, you're better off driving a few miles to the next closest Wendy's or choosing a different fast food place.
My friend and I walked in, we had to wait for the staff to finish up having their personal conversations before we could place our orders, at which point they took -my- order, but completely ignored my friend. She had to stand there another two minutes while the employees all got in a circle and talked to each other. Then, after she had already paid for her order, the manager "informed" her that they couldn't actually fulfill her order since they apparently were out of grilled chicken and she would have to order something else. I say "informed" because she did this by shouting "NO GRILLED CHICKEN. ORDER SOMETHING ELSE" from the back of the kitchen. It took even longer for them to finally get our orders together, as one guy worked very hard to run around the entire kitchen getting our orders together while the other five employees stood around and watched him. The only one who bothered to help him was some high school kid who got my Frosty, placed it on my tray completely overflowing, turning the cup and everything around it into a sticky chocolaty mess. The entire staff at this place needs to be fired before I'd even...
Read moreGross experience, truly. I personally cannot stand ordering from this kind of place, but every once in a while, I will make an exception and order from here for my daughter. I ordered her a 10-piece Chicken Nugget Meal with three ketchups. One meal, extremely simple. First, he handed me her drink with liquid all over the sides of her cup. I handed it back to him and asked him to please wipe it off. He apologized. Then he handed me her meal, which was the complete wrong meal. I handed that back to him and repeated what I had ordered. He checked their monitor and, again, he apologized. To my utter disgust, he walked away from the cash register where he had been handling filthy money and, without washing his hands or placing gloves on, he put her chicken nuggets and fries into their containers and placed them into her bag. His hands were not clean and he was handling all of her food containers and items. It was DISGUSTING! At that point, I was desperate to leave and not going to cause a scene by explaining to him how unacceptable that kind of behavior was, especially since COVID and Monkey Pox are running rampant in our society. I also did not want him to spit in her food. I am appalled at this horrendous customer service. It is dirty, lazy, careless, and poor. The inability to get one meal right while practicing proper hygiene...
