This was from my complaint filed I had placed a mobile order and picked it up through the drive-thru. After pulling over in the parking lot to hand my son his Happy Meal, I noticed that the chicken nuggets were missing. I immediately drove back around to the drive-thru to address the issue.
A manager-in-training named Celeste handed me the chicken nuggets and quickly closed the window. Shortly after, another employee, Monica, returned with Celeste and asked if I needed anything else. While I was handing the food back to my son, I replied that I did not. At that point, Celeste told me to leave the drive-thru because they were “running on a timer.”
I explained that I should not have had to return at all had my order been correct the first time. Celeste then instructed Monica to tell me that I had already received what I needed and to leave. When I asked for Celeste’s name, Monica refused to provide it, stating that she didn’t need to. I informed them that I would not leave until I received the name so I could file a complaint. Both Celeste and Monica closed the window on me.
When the window was reopened, Monica claimed she did not know Celeste’s name because she was new, but confirmed that Celeste was a manager. Celeste then directed Juan to speak with me. At that point, I requested the names of everyone I interacted with and the phone number for filing a complaint.
What concerns me most is that Celeste, as a manager-in-training, demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism, customer service skills, and empathy. Rather than de-escalating the situation, her behavior created unnecessary conflict and left both her coworkers and myself in a more frustrating position.
As someone who has worked in customer service for over 20 years, I find it troubling that an employee in training for a management role would mishandle a situation so poorly. A manager should represent the company with professionalism, problem-solving ability, and courtesy—qualities that Celeste did not display. Promoting individuals without the proper skills or experience undermines both employee morale and...
Read moreIts the most expensive fast food in town, so i am boycotting, avoiding mcDonalds branches all over. Compared to other fast food businesses, mac D's does not help my desire for reasonably good pricing. Its over-priced. A fish fillet might be a microwaved undersized piece of fish with either no tarter sauce or, if requested, over-flowing in tarter sauce and met with rudeness at the McD's on jefferson. But very high pricing also at location on imola ave and these franchises can really hit a family in pocketbook. No Thanks. I pass. There is fair pricing at In N oOut burgers on imola avenue , not at mcDonalds. Some employees ar mcD's branch on Imola Ave need to be snotty, rude but i dont see managers of Mac making any effort to create a better customer exoerience and find service is a negative experience to oart with much money for little value. Hiwever, At In N Out, employees look happy and service is exemplary, over the top, cheerful, unlike mcDonalds branches i visited in our town. I prefer In and Out. Its also more popular with more customers at In N Out than Mac so people are figuring it out on their own , where they want to go for the better food and atmosphere, and better value for the cost.
COMPARE to In-N-Out: Chech out the animal fries if with a friend at In-N-out, and ask for forks if desired. Notice the staff: efficient and interacting with customers, smiling , helpful.
I pass by McDonalds to get to In N Out over twice a week, more like 4 to 6 times in a week..often as late as midnight up to 1 AM. or as early as 10 45 am...if you need fast food as early as 8am you cannot find burgers at macdonalds in the early am..and unfortunately i simply wait for the better burger until 10: 30 when the fav place opens in the lot past mcD's. THANKS , please tell us your experience , such if you like Mac because there is a different product you dont find elsewhere, or for kid's meals. My "wallet:" avoids McDonalds Im attached to the wallet not...
Read moreExcellent Service the manager or supervisor Sophia is extraordinary and each employee here helped me in making my meal experience special and remarkable this Holiday season. I highly recommend this newly innovatived McDonald's to all future guests and tourists visiting either during the holidays and non holiday seasons. The food is excellent, the customer service is wonderfully pleasant, and the restaurant is super clean and presentable, and there are some eye candy staff or crew members here that are pleasantly to look at because of their model like features Sophia is one, and the second I didn't get his name but he has beautifully gorgeous long hair. Besides me getting distracted by the natural beauty that is found here at this location, I noticed it felt like being around family and this I loved since it is currently the season of Christmas and this is what it's all about. I enjoyed the atmosphere here, and it's such a delight to see all the visitors who come thru here for the excellent service that Sophia and her team provides. They truly deserve some kind of positive praise and feedback, so this is why I give them 💯%. If you feel it in your heart this holiday season please feel free to stop by and give this lovely team that goes out of their way everyday servicing you and I, a lovely gift card or gift from the heart to remind them that we all appreciate the hard work they do and that in fact their commodore and excellency does not go unnoticed 🤗🙂👋🥤🍔🍟🍦☕May everyone have a Bless it be Christmas, and...
