Farm to table. Great little burger joint. Clean, nice atmosphere. Wood tables and chairs. Manager sat us immediately on a Saturday afternoon. Oasis, our server, was knowledgeable and there when we needed her. Standard burger great. I got medium to well and it was not dry. Husband got the same with bacon, cooked medium. I’ll get it cooked medium next time. Pink all through but really no blood. Delicious!! Fries - they give you enough for two, they are crispy, HOT, and all long. No shorties here. Cole slaw was fresh, just cabbage and mayo sauce, but not drowning in mayo. Cucumber salad very fresh too, not much dressing, so cucumber and red onion were crisp. Both a little bland but good. I do like “less is more.” The server brought me cucumber salad by mistake, I ordered Cole slaw, no problem, she let me keep the cucumber salad and immediately got me the Cole slaw. The manager came up to us when we were done and asked how everything was. It was great! I usually take half my burger home, but not this time. It was too good. Like burgers used to be when I was a kid. Got 10 wings to bring home as I heard they were good. Everyone was friendly. They have a nice rustic bar too with drinks, wine, and beer. I appreciate their silverware has a decent weight to it, not the thin cheap kind I expected. They also sell their own meats - beef is the color of blood, hardly any fat on certain cuts, like stew meat. Pork looked good also, prices on the pork are very reasonable. Will be back to eat here and try some of their meats too. This is a gem in Valdese! Limited menu but what you get is of the highest quality, tasteful, and the staff is welcoming....

Came here for Valentine’s dinner special they offered that I seen advertised on facebook. The dinner came with a charcuterie board for appetizer, a salad, choice of ribeye, prime rib, filet, or chicken with Brussels and a baked potato. Then a desert of chocolate silk pie. Wide variety of drinks,whiskey and beer! The charcuterie board was neat and tasty! Salad was pretty good, the ranch was amazing. We both ordered the ribeye. Steak came out in good time and it was juicy and flavorful! Baked potatoes were good like any other baked potato. The Brussels I thought were ok, my fiancé loved them. They were cooked right I was just not a fan of the balsamic glaze. Just my personal preference though nothing they did wrong at all. The chocolate silk pie was out of this world delicious! My fiancé also had a Strawberry Chocolate martini she said was good! They also have a good variety of farm to table beef and pork you can buy and take home to cook. Anywhere from ground beef,briskets, roast to pork chops. Also if you’re into cooking and seasonings they keep a nice selection of Heath Riles seasonings and glazes. They also have their own as well. Love the fact that you can pay right from your table from your phone just by scanning a bar code. Seating is a little tight, but it’s not a huge dining area. Wanted to try this place for sometime. Came with 4 adults and a baby. We were seated pretty quickly for how busy it was but once seated, it went down hill from there. Sat at the table for a good 15-20 minutes and nobody would even take our drink order. Three tables that were seated after us were waited on before us. One waitress repeatedly helped the table beside us, but would look at us and look away. We had to ask the hostess if someone would help us and finally someone came. Three of us got burgers and I paid $2 extra for bacon on mine, only to get one little slice. The burger was about half the size of a regular burger, much, much smaller than the bun. By the time we got our food, the baby needed to be changed. Went to the car to change him and didn’t bother to go back in or even eat my food. Took forever for the rest of my party to get the check so they could pay. A HUGE waste of $104. Will never go back.
