Easily the worst Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. So bad that I've written a bug report to Google over bad directions, a scathing review on Corporate's website, and I'm leaving these pictures here to describe how bad the entire situation parking lot is. Plus I'm filing a complaint with the US Government ADA department, because there's no way this location is up to code.
The food was fine. Slightly better than average. The lemonade had an inch of pulp in the top of my drink, which was absurd, but they swapped out my lemonade for tea, which was good enough. No complaints about the food.
No, I'm angry because of the insanity of the parking lot, and the compete hatred for human life. Check those pictures. I have zero idea how this location doesn't violate The Americans with Disabilities Act multiple times. No curb cuts next to the cross walk. No yellow paint next to the curb that's posted with a crosswalk sign. The second picture is around the corner, where you must enter the drive through to access the handicap parking spots. So exiting the handicapped parking requires waiting in the drive through line until everyone else has picked up their order. Brilliant. Why be so indirect? Why not just give senior citizens the middle finger? Because that's exactly what this location does.
I have no idea how this location is legal. Literally, I'm going to report this location to the national government ADA website, because I watched a poor old elderly lady have to get multiple people helping her navigate her walker down the curb while I was in the drive through. She was right in front of me, and it took like 2 minutes to get down the curb and across the parking lot. I was born in the 90s, after ADA was passed, so I've never had to see that myself. Watching some poor old elderly lady struggle that much in 2024 is a disgrace. We've known how to spec, build, and install accessible locations for literally decades, so how did Chick-Fil-A manage to screw this up so badly?
Then, there's the parking. Google, you're not free from failure here. I already wrote you a bug report. You directed me to take a left turn, which has been blocked off with a barrier from the main road. You have to drive half a mile to make a U Turn and actually get into the parking lot, if you're following Google's directions. So, thanks for sending me down a route that doesn't exist, Google.
Otherwise, the entire rest of the driving situation is completely unacceptable. I'd write more, but there's a character limit here. Just stay away from this location and save yourself the headache.
I didn't get a proper picture of that disaster of an intersection, because I was too busy dealing with the accident that happened in parking lot. Yes, this location caused me to get in the first accident I've been in for the last 6 years.
Someone backed into me while I was sitting in my car parked on the far side of the parking lot. The same parking lot and roads that almost caused me to get into three different accidents within 15 minutes. A complete disaster. The person from corporate who approved this, and the city planner who said "yeah, this is okay" should both be fired. The manager came outside to make sure everyone was okay after the accident (I asked for someone to come out) and he politely told me that Chick-Fil-A corporate has constantly refused to do any modifications, until the next major remodel is due in 4 years.
So let me get this straight. Chick-Fil-A corporate knows there's a problem that's been reported multiple times, and they're okay just sitting on the problem and not doing anything about it? Bruh, you guys just did a remodel during the pandemic to install those drive through focused doors, and someone really genuinely thought that it was okay?
This experience was so genuinely bad, that I'm not going back to any Chick-Fil-A's on any road trips, ever. No amount of good food is worth getting into an accident on a long road trip. None. Congratulations, you managed to take a life-long happy customer, and get blacklisted. I hope the remodel savings...
Read moreGreat customer service. Regular customer. Everyone basically knows what I want when I pull up. The only bad experience, I had was with a manager named, Kelly!!! Kelly doesn't know how to talk to customers, very rude. She said to me, I'm a regular customer... I usually go to this Chic Fila on St. Augustine Rd. everyday or every other day..Now, there was HAIR in the bag with my food!!! How gross is that??? She says, we can't replace anymore food for you, this is the last time, you always have an issue with our services, she said this to A VALUED CUSTOMER!!!! Now, her being a manager, (obviously, predjuice) working in customer service saying that to a customer...I had witnesses who heard her and she was being recorded, If she wasn't so rude she'd know should how to talk to customers. YOU need in practice customer service, Other than this rude incident with Kelly. Everyone else and everything else is great. Always friendly and courteous...and whenever there is a problem and it happens sometimes, everyone is very kind and fixes it promptly. Caleb, Faith, Paxton, Angel, Jalen are all great and have wonderful customer service skills, there are some others, I just don't know their names. I called to speak with Caleb, a manager who is ALWAYS KIND, takes good care of guest and customers, she refused to let me speak with him or the owner. Mr. Charlie, the owner is great also. I'm not going to let one rude person stop me from going to Chic Fila...I can only imagine what her employees have to deal with ,with an attitude like that...signed, Mrs. Pam in...
Read moreAs if! Oh my gosh if I could I would rate this Chick Fil Disappointment a whole negative 13,000 stars, I would. Never in my life with a few exceptions, had chick fil a charge me for a cup of water. I have never been so disappointed and heartbroken in one day. Some might say I'm extra but when they ringed up my order as extra sauce I had enough. I asked and told her, I'm not ordering extra sauce. Then she was like that's how we ring it up. Then I'm like then hang up the phone. In protest, I paid in 27 pennies. That she didn't even count. It took me two minutes to count them up. Twice the disappointment now. If the world was ending, I wouldn't recommend this chick fil a over my cold dead body. As a wise man once told me, don't eat eggs on Halloween. This is a great example here, don't pay for water at chick fil a. I never had my heart torn out of my chest, as someone who counts every penny I make, it certainly hit the bank. I can't believe that she ringed it up as extra sauce, where my sauce at girl. Now I'm disappointed I got this water. I want my extra sauce now. You got me all worked up and I'm like girl, get outa here, where dat manager. I used to go to chick fil a all the time. Now I'm thinking about taking a break for a few days or decades. I'm just so broken man, I had to call my dad for immediate aid. I'm like dad, why me, why this chick fil a. I'm just broken, what do I do dad? How do I survive this? Of course he doesn't care...
