I visited Panda Express on February 21, 2022 at the request of my oldest son. I typically park and go inside so that I can see the options and quickly select food items. However, due to being tired and ready to get home, I used the drive-thru. I attempted to place my son's order and the male voice that was taking the order stated, "we are out of that" after I selected one or two entrée items. Suddenly, there was a female voice providing a list of all items that were available. I finished up my order and drove up to the pick up window. I inquired with the male about the way he responded while I placed my order. The male stated that he was simply letting me know that he had already provided me with the list of items that were available. When I received my order, I handed the food items to my sons sitting in the back seat. As I prepared to drive off, a female came to the window and asked me if there was a problem with my order. I responded that there wasn't a problem but that I was giving my sons their food. I asked if this was a problem since there was no one behind me. The female responded, "Yes, it is". I got upset because at this point no one was behind me and I told the female that no one was behind me so it shouldn't matter. She replied' It does matter", then stared at me for a few minutes before walking away as the employees watched in the background. I called the Panda Express number on my receipt and asked for management...guess who I was connected with? The same female that was so rude to me at the drive-thru window. I knew it was her because I recalled her unique accent. I explained my issue and informed her that I would be contacting the corporate headquarter for Panda Express. During this 10-15 minute phone call, the manager didn't offer any apology and attempted to justify her actions. Please beware of visiting this location. I have never heard of a drive-thru having an issue with a paying customer checking his/her food and giving food to passengers before driving off. My sons enjoyed the food, but it's not worth it to return to receive poor service from employees...
Read morePanda Express is one of my favorite places to eat when the food is fresh and the employees are friendly. That being said, we stopped in at the Valdosta Panda Express on the way home from Jacksonville, Fl. We got there at about 9:30pm. We live in Albany and have been coming here for the past several years and have never had this problem. We live an hour and a half away. We probably wont be coming back if it is going to be like our experience was tonight. When we got there, there was barely any food left and the rice that was left was hard. It was an hour before closing and they wouldnt fix any fresh food. We were given our food in takeout containers like she wanted us to leave. She locked the door at 9:45 and there was a customer that came to the door at 9:48 and other customers were turned away from the drive thru, because they pulled what little food was left after we got our plates. The girl who was in such a hurry that rang us up was Deandra G. One of her fellow employees came out of the back and was like what are yall doing? We dont close until 10:30?! She was like I am just trying to clean up I dont care. He kept trying to get her to stop mopping and she wouldnt come so he just gave up trying to tell her. It was a horrible experience. The managers need to stay until closing time or pop in unannounced to see what is really going on! They lost a lot of business tonight. If anyone that was there tonight (9-14-19) was a manager, then they need to be given their walking papers for mismanaging the business. Their is no excuse for laziness. If you don't want to work you shouldn’t have applied for the job. I am sure that the hours are given before you agree to become an employee. If the food and the service continue to be as poor as it was tonight, they may not be open too...
Read moreEdited review: I have given this place plenty of times to get things right, but time after time I go here there is a new issue of some sort. The food seems to never be ready. I can't even order black pepper chicken anymore. I wanted the walnut shrimp; was offered a medium or large, but could only get a small because that was all they had made. Wanted spring rolls but only one was left and could not get another one made? The rice was dried, and the vegetables were hard to the point my fork would not puncture to pick the vegetables up. Had to settled for the black pepper steak which was terribly chewy. I don't come back to a review, this is a 1st, but I don't want anyone to waste their time going here until they have committed to truly trying to do better. Hardly ever I give a terrible review, becuase I understand customer service can be hard. But after all this time, I feel like the company has just given up.
Food was good fresh and good this time around! I haven't gone in a long time. But my experience has been hit or miss. Even this last time, the food was great and fresh but they forgot my egg rolls! My food had been dry or you can tell that was sitting out too long. I don't mind going to this place, because the walnut shrimp is great, just wish they would stay a bit more...
