DO NOT BUY BEDS FROM THIS COMPANY
On June 5, 2023, my wife and I went to the sleep number store in Valdosta Ga. to see about purchasing a sleep number mattress. The salesman, Aaron, was very nice and helpful. After leaving the store and discussing the purchase we decided to buy a mattress from them. Our mattress arrived on June 28, 2023, (beginning our 100 night in-home trial) and from there our experience went poorly.
When the mattress was delivered and unwrapped there was a horrible chemical smell that took several days to dissipate. Additionally during the setup the gentleman installing the bed requested for me to log in his phone to our home’s wifi so he could set up the bed. I was not comfortable with this, but complied. Later, on a follow up call from Sleep Number, I expressed my concern about this but could not get an explanation as to why I had to log in the technician’s phone, instead of just linking the bed with my phone and the installed app I had.
Above all, my wife was very unhappy with the bed and its comfort. After a few weeks, but within our 100 night in-home test, we went back to the store and discussed this with the staff. The salespeople helped by beginning the process to exchange our mattress for another. We were concerned because of the long delivery time from the first mattress that we might go over our 100 night test time, but were assured the new mattress would be delivered before the expiration of our in-home test time.
Our second mattress was delivered by the same technician. He advised we were to receive a new mattress and new pump for the bed, but during the installation of the new mattress the technician was unable to hook up the new pump to the wifi. He tried several times to get the pump connected but was unsuccessful. Eventually he just reinstalled our old pump, but in doing so switched the sides around, so that my side of the bed became my wife’s and visa-versa before leaving.
After a week or so, my wife and I were still not happy with the mattress. The second one was better than the first, but for what we paid we were unhappy. On Saturday, September 16, 2023 (still within our 100 night in-home trail), my wife called to return the mattress for a refund. Upon speaking to the person on the phone my wife was told that because we had exchanged mattresses during the trial, we could no longer return the mattress for a refund. The sleep number representative told my wife that they would go back and review our call which initiated the exchange process and make sure we were told that was the case. Additionally stating that she did not work on weekends and that it would be the following week until she would research the matter further. My wife asked her, …”was it not Saturday, and was she not working on the weekend?” To which my wife was told that she (the representative) did not do research on the weekend.
Currently we are waiting for the representative to do their review of our exchange call to see if we were told that would nullify our return ability. I do not hold high hopes for this as they are in control of...

We were led to believe that the bed could be delivered in 5 to 7 days until they received our money. Once the order was placed, we found out it was going to be 21 days before our bed could be delivered. Called customer service and that was a waste of time. They were not helpful or willing to offer any help. They left me with the impression they were doing me a favor by letting me purchase a bed. At this time, I am not sure if we are going to take delivery or cancel our order. If I do take delivery of the bed, I am concerned about the level of customer service I will receive if I need them...

Did try to contact store for help as my vibrator on my bed stop working in 4 months after purchase, store sales person never replied back. it's been 4 weeks I have been waiting for some one to come and fix the bed, they said that they don't have vibrating motor in supply. I would have given this 0 stars if possible. Side of the bed is very slippery and you really can't sit on the edge of the mattress as bed is made up of air mattress inside with 4 foam on side.
