Have you ever been a victim of racism, WELCOME TO VALDOSTA LONGHORN. I had the time to let loose an I an my (White) husband came to longhorns even though the wait to be seated was short I was soon faced with issues in todays society. My waitress brought us the wrong food which made another customer upset. Instead of the manager coming out to resolve the issue we where left to figure out why the food was not delivered to the right customers. I was given an excuse that we had the same name but still we decided to leave peacefully because the other customer was clearly upset. We never received our food, we where told we did not order anything after overseeing an waiting 40 minutes to receive someone else’s food. I decided to call an let the manager the next morning know of the situation but as usual in Georgia “the customer is never right”. I was given a gift card an when I. Came to retrieve the gift card I was told by the same manger (Domonique) that sent me the gift card that she was told I was the issue the prior night, I was falsely accused of telling someone I would snatch her hair out & also accused of fighting in the parking lot even though there was no altercation AT ALL. I am very disappointed in the service I received my first visit at longhorns in Valdosta & deeply think that they need better management and servers. I expect management to come on here an make me seem like a bad person but me an God know the truth. Happy Eats & Safe Travels. Try Austin’s Cattle House instead! Better service better people...
Read moreJune 2024 review. 9 Months ago, this was a 5 star review. I know any one thing can change, but the total experience degraded. This time, the strawberry pecan salad was not fresh and filled with brown tinged romaine stalks. Other fruits not very fresh. Shrimp skewers were okay. My wife's chopped steak and sweet potato okay. The bread was dry and overheated. Hostess asked how many, grabbed two menus and walked away. I asked if we were supposed to follow. She was pretty dismissive of us. We're much older, she was very young. New pics included. Note the brown lettuce. I think you can see it. When I pointed it out to the server, she said she would tell the kitchen. Later the manager walked by twice but studiously avoided eye contact. Looks like they are off my list again.
9 Months Ago: First time in years that food was that good here! If it was a fluke it was still great! I ordered a ribeye. Which was just right for medium. My wife got sirloin that was little tougher but still good. The happy surprise was the strawberry pecan salad that was DELICIOUS! Crisp lettuce, juicy mandarin oranges, pecans that tasted like fresh pecans (that's pee-cans in local slang). Everything about the salad had me dancing a little in my chair. Not many things get me that excited at my age nowadays! All the food was excellent or better! Service was pleasant and I didn't get grief about needing 3 take home boxes! We are putting Longhorns Valdosta back on our list and hope...
Read moreSo let me start off by saying that I typically enjoy going to longhorn for dinner and have been many many times. I also know that a restaurant has its times and the experience isn’t amazing. However, I believe a manager should always be doing his best to keep his customers content, within reason. My waitress was great and did her best with a party of 8 during dinner rush on a Friday night. However, half of our table did not receive our food anywhere close to when the other half of the table received their’s. When they finally brought out the food, half of our party was half way done with their’s. On top of that, the food was cold like it had been sitting there for however long. We told our waitress, and she said she would inform her manager. We saw her tell him. He ended up taking 10% off, which was nice, but it was less than $2 of the bill and basically didn’t make a difference. I would not have cared about him taking anything off the bill if he had been more professional. This manager made absolutely no attempt at trying to talk to us about our meal like any other manager at any other restaurant would do. In fact, it seemed like he was intentionally avoiding talking to us. The whole thing just felt snubby and like we were a big inconvenience for not being thrilled about cold food. I will still continue to eat at longhorn, but not as long as that particular...
