Ok so I bring my family here so a party of 6. We are seated right away great start. We are offered water and asked what we like to drink in a timely manner. We order 2 apps and 2 soups. This is where it goes chaotic, our apps are great but no soup, the other tables get their soup, I'm now questioning the chaios I noticed from the kitchen. The sodas are from the kitchen, not the bar, everyone on the floor is coming in and out of the kitchen and every server is running across each other with what seems to look like no one knows what's going on. The kitchen has no person calling orders or looks like you grab a ticket and make that order?? Now I'm really questioning my choice. No refills offered for the kids or us and now I'm asking for our soup. Ten minutes go by and the server is running in circles. Our food now arrives from someone else and our soup follows. ??? Burgers ordered medium and medium rare, all cooked well done with cold potatos, I bring this to server attention about five minutes later they come remove the plates and start again. Same order same way to then receive the burger well done again. Server comes to ask how it was I showed her my burger, and she's saying not again. All the while I'm watching in the kitchen the complete chaios everyone running over and around each other. Please tell me where was management, why was there not someone in the kitchen leading the cooks?? Needless to say 2 apps, 2 soups, 3 people didn't eat and it was $101.00 and that was with 1 comped burger. So in end after some really careful eye watching we will not be returning. Too bad because the place is very nicely done but too many tables if a wheelchair came in youd have to go right back out as they have no handicap access through the restaurant. But the fried green beans were fantastic and the turkey melt my daughter ordered was good. And the soup was baked potato, runny waterery and cold, as were the...
Read moreWe did have a decent sized party (roughly 20 people), be aware that even though online says they take reservations and can sit large groups that it's not possible (as they said they don't take reservations). Our instance when we first got in we were going to be separated from our table, to where about half of us were on the side near their kitchen doors and then the rest of us were at the tables right across from there, eventually the people that were eating at the end were done with their meal and it was just before the last of our party arrived and they moved their table to the rest of ours to create one long table instead, which is what we were expecting. I got the meatloaf that everyone RAVED about in the reviews. This meatloaf honestly was mediocre at best. It DEFINITELY wasn't worth the $17 they have it priced at. Also, the two sides I got was the vegetables and the mashed potatoes. The potatoes were super salty and overdone to me. The veggies were SUPER RAW and not cooked enough (this wasn't just a me opinion either), which was hard to eat since I have braces currently. Another downside was the service, our waitress barely checked on our table while we were there asking for drinks, refills or even if we were ready to order (once we got everyone there). I would say we waited 45 mins after we told them we were all there for us to tell the waitress that we were all ready to order/asked if we could order now. After my husband and I finished eating it took about another 20 mins from the time we asked for our bill to get it. Everyone in our group was leaving at different times, and we had to get back home, therefore we were ready. So that took some time as well. My husband and I both agreed that between the service and the price of food that we will not be back nor would we recommend anyone to drive out of town (like we did, an hour out) at all. ...

The upscale industrial ambiance, complete with a model train looping the ceiling and historic nods to America’s industrial giants, makes for a memorable visit. The restaurant is spotless, the service is prompt—our server greeted us within minutes—and the food arrived just 10 minutes after ordering.
We started with the Molten Cheese Dip, a creamy white American cheese blend with jalapeños, topped with fresh pico de gallo and served with a side of tortilla chips. The dip itself was flavorful, with a nice kick from the jalapeños that wasn’t overpowering. However, the chips were a bit disappointing—they weren’t the vibrant red, white, and blue as described, just regular chips that didn’t seem particularly fresh or homemade.
My wife opted for Mom’s Famous Double Shift Pot Roast, a fork-tender chuck roast topped with rich beef gravy, paired with garlic mashed potatoes and the vegetable of the day. She thoroughly enjoyed it and found the dish hearty and comforting.
I chose the Beef Stroganoff, which features tender beef and mushrooms in a house-made stroganoff sauce served over bow tie pasta with a breadstick. While this dish is usually a favorite of mine, it missed the mark this time. The sauce was a bit watery and lacked the depth I’ve come to expect, and the beef portions were somewhat sparse. It was still enjoyable, but not quite up to the high standard set by previous visits.
Overall, Industrial Revolution is a fantastic family-friendly spot, blending history with a fun, lively atmosphere. The train circling overhead and historical videos are a hit for kids and adults alike. Despite a couple of missteps with the chips and stroganoff, the creativity, fast service, and atmosphere make this place...
