Bento Bowls - Poke Bowls & Bubble Tea has finally opened in Valparaiso! This, I think, is the third poke bowl place we've been to, the first for a date night honor however. A blend of fresh ingredients and/or rice (3 types available) and either create your own or select a house Signature Bowl. The Mrs. went with the house's Signature Bowl called the Mango Tango Bowl (top in photos). Started with her option of sushi rice and Includes fresh salmon (raw), lettuce, mango, sweet onion, corn, avacado, cherry radish, tobiko and finished with mango sauce. Her drink of choice was the Thai Tea (milk tea). I went on my own and created a triple protein bowl. Started with ½ brown rice and ½ mixed greens then added sweet onions, edamame, mango, pickled radish, and mango, then for the proteins Ahi Tuna, salmon and peppered tuna topped with honey Wasabi sauce and sweet peanut. My tea option with mango milk tea. All were exceptionally good!

Fantastic. I cannot believe how good this food is. I am not a fish person but this peppered tuna is delicious. My friends spicy tuna bowl was also very tasty. There is so much food in these bowls. The boba tea is actually fresh and you get to choose your tea (as you should for boba). The passion fruit smoothie though is out of this world. I could drink this forever every day. I need to try the other flavors. I will be back for more!

Love this place! I've been looking forward to something like this locally for awhile and they did not disappoint. If you're looking for an expansive, healthy and flavorful choice, this is the spot! I missed poke dishes from the days in Hawaii but wanted something that wasn't quite as formal as sushi/sashimi. This is quick and easy, something for everyone and if you want a smoothie, or bobba tea, then you're in luck!

I stopped by Bento Bowl yesterday and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for catching up with a friend or just relaxing with a good drink.

The service was exceptional! The cashier was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. They provided me with tons of information about their menu and even suggested I bring my own sugar substitute for their smoothies and teas, since I'm watching my sugar intake. That extra touch really shows they care about their customers.

I'm definitely going to be coming back to Bento Bowl often. I highly recommend...

Absolutely love this place! It’s very, very clean, the ingredients are always fresh and people working there are awesome. Their ramen is pricey but delicious and the portions are so huge! I am able to eat it for two meals and sometimes can’t even finish it all. The only thing is I wish they would use powder for their bubble teas because it’s hit-or-miss (I think they use syrups?). But anyway, I wish the owners luck and I hope their business thrives and I’ll keep being a returning customer. Great...
