Abelist staff in my opinion and unwelcoming to disabled people. When I was struggling with a return, a blonde woman manager told the girl helping me to take the next person instead of assisting me which turned into like 10 people. I was overwhelmed but greatful to the employee who eventually but begrudgingly helped me get it straightened out. I wanted to come on here and give her a good review but when I asked for her name she said "no" and just started walking away while I was still talking. I honestly don't get it. I told them, I'm autistic and I haven't done this process before, please be patient with me but attitudes did not soften. I tried to apologize and thank the manager she was 2 feet away from me and refused to acknowledge me or look up. I could tell it was tense and because of me. This whole interaction really hurt my feelings when I got back in the car and thought it over. Maybe that's why the younger, shorter, dark haired girl in glasses refused to give me her name. I had every intention of leaving her a glowing review and told her that. However, thinking more about it after leaving they were actually very rude and short even after I disclosed my disability and got the hang of the returns. I dont want special treatment, but treating me like a person and every other cuatomer they helped would have been nice. Man, kindness is free and I don't see why I wasn't worth the extra minute it took to help me. It was so unnecessary and rude in my further review after. ableist people run the show here. I think I will steer clear from this place as a whole chain. Really hurt about how specificly dismissive of...
Read moreWent to have some items printed for a work project and the lady sitting on the chair in near the printer was SO RUDE that I just walked out and never even gave the Valparaiso Staples a chance to earn my business. I have used the Valparaiso Staples for so many other products for years and spend a lot of money on the office supply side but not much in the print shop side. I now will look at businesses like Amazon to order as do not want to deal with RUDE PEOPLE. I ended up going to Boy-Conn Print shop on Calumet in Valparaiso and they were amazing. Very pleasant and they wanted to earn my business. I even saved money compared to what the Valparaiso Staples would have charged me. But tired of dealing with lazy and RUDE employees at businesses and will find alternatives on where to spend my money. I did not get the Rude Ladies name as I said forget it and would go someone else, and left immediately, but this was on Friday 3/1 at 2 pm. Valparaiso Staples, you have just lost a very loyal customer and as long as that lady is still part of your team you will most likely lose more. Saw another comment from someone returning an item for UPS as she commented on someone that was RUDE. Wonder if it is the...
Read moreOct 2022: The Valparaiso Staples continues to provide exemplary customer service, final deliverables, and all around pricing for products. I would still strongly recommend their Copy & Print department for all business plans, pitch decks, and other items of that nature 👍.

Oct 2021: After visiting the Staples in Valparaiso, for a variety of business printing needs, I only have good things to say on their behalf.
The Copy & Print department is thoroughly professional as well as friendly and personable. Plus the final deliverables I received from them are of a stellar quality 💯👍.
I’d like to thank Colleen in particular for her help suggesting the cover, binding, and paper stock materials that were used assemble my documents. They really tie our firm’s business plan together in a crisp and impactful way.
Also of note, the entire storefront was fastidiously organized and everyone at work was genuinely cheerful, which is always nice...
