Pretty sure this place was designed with people that don't have legs in mind. My knees were in someone's back the whole time, and someone's knees were in my back. Not a very comfortable experience. Also, the parking is a joke. It is like people at VU are afraid of parking garages. We had to park far away, because there was absolutely nothing in the small lot next to the building. Not even enough spaces for handicap parking. Also, there is no elevator or escalator, so if you have a wheelchair or stairs are hard, you will have to rely on a chair lift on the stairs if you need to get up there. It is a bit of a joke for...
Read moreThe arena is well lit and it appears that the reserve seating on the east side of the gym would be comfortable. The bleachers seats behind the team benches, however, are cramped and reminiscent of a high school gym. There is minimal signage to direct you to any parking or even to the gym. A lone guy sitting below the stairs at the entrance scans your tickets, but you have to guess that he does this as, again, no sigmage, and he doesnt volunteer the info. Read moreWent to the Ball State v Valpo basketball game. First game I had been to here. It's an older gym, reminds me of a old high school facility (not in a bad way). However, the seats are metal and not comfy and they are jammed packed in small rows. I enjoy the feel of the gym and being close to the court no matter which side you are on, but the worst part is it was so HOT in the gym.
