I am leaving a 5 start review. My intention is the hope of getting a resolution to last night's mishap. I know how much a bad review can be detrimental to a business.
If a positive resolution HAS NOT been met, I do intend to update the review to reflect the experience.
Backstory: I placed an order online last night around 7 pm. I went to checkout and decided to change the 20 Oz sodas to a one 2-liter. Upon deleting them, I was kicked out and had to start ordering again, No biggie. I go to re-order everything. When reviewing my pizza preferences, everything was good except for one of the toppings. I changed said topping and proceeded to check out. At checkout, my card payment wasn't taking, and it said there was an error. So I submitted my payment again, and it goes through. I ordered the 2 mediums with the coupon. 1 thin crust pepperoni and one handpan with Ham.
Pizza arrives on time and goes to the wrong duplex unit, no biggie. It happens often as we are all human. However, our order was very wrong. We received two handtossed mediums, both half pepperoni and half ham. I called in to discuss these issues with associate @7:30 and see I have a missed call at 7:11 from a VOIP number (number this location typicallu uses to call customer with questions)
I tell associate what I received. He said he was gonna look into it. I was on hold 3-5 minutes or so, and my husband and I were discussing the situation to gather facts. We assumed it could be the online system after discussing the facts and were prepared to tell the associate when he cane back on the phone. Associate comes on the phone almost immediately after I tell husband "OK we will let them know the additional information to better assist with a resolution." The associate gets back on the phone and starts talking about how the online system has been an issue for a while now. And if it happens next time, call the store BEFORE submitting an order to make sure it is correct. (Kinda defeats the purpose of an online system) I responded with, " ok, would it just be easier to go old school and call it in?" He said I mean, if you want to. Out of frustration, I nicely said "OK thanks for your help. Have a good night,"
He wasn't rude, but he definitely didn't have customer service skills, admitted the online system was having issues, didn't offer a sincere apology or solution
I thank you kindly in advance and I look forward to...
