Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Van Buren

Customers were horrible. Kept screaming and yelling at the employees and the having the audacity to try and call corporate. Thought I was seeing a little kid throwing a temper tantrum. Staff was really sweet until the lady started throwing at the cashier and the cashier went to the bathroom crying. Manager told her to leave and here and her family kept screaming at them. Manager had to threaten to call the cops and that set the lady off. She did not leave until the Manager was fake calling the police. On her way out she poured her drink on the floor and dumped a box of crumbles she had asked for all over the place then broke the bell by the door. When I tell you she then proceeded to like the window on the door I'm still trying to process that this is a grown woman. People. You go to restaurants and fast food places to buy food. Not the employees life's. This is ridiculous. And if you ever go somewhere and get food and the cashier or other employees are a little rude. Remember they deal with people like this...

Absolutely the worst fish in 50 years. I walked into an empty store at 4 pm Sunday. I had to ask for service after standing at an empty counter for about 3 minutes. I ordered a two fish meal, and besides being overcooked, it was tough as rubber. I should have known better as it was already cooked ( probably from lunch) . I will not return to this store, and unfortunately, I don't think long John's silver will be around much longer. The store was empty, the drive thru was empty, and I saw crumbs on one table, with the floor looking like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. 50 years ago, they were the best, but now the absolute worst. And to be perfectly clear I didn't "feel let down " I was totally disgusted by the overcooked rubbery fish planks, the disgusting fries as everything was sitting under the heat lamps and nothing was freshly cooked. Obviously, all leftover for hours. I didn't bother to eat the Cole slaw as the poor quality of the fish and fries left me with a vote of no confidence overall....

This crooked business NO LONGER gives drinks on meals, they do on the combos, but not the meals so in essence you’re paying more for the same dang thing. Plus the gentleman running the drive through is so stoned sounding he can barely speak. This place used to be a great place to eat, but last time we were here they didn’t get our order correct. They also leave the back door open for potential threats, or even biological contaminates. With COVID-19 going around you would think they’d want the outside world closed. Also had to sit in line for 30 minutes 2 cars behind the front, and some woman kept coming in and out the door without washing her hands. She would touch her face and leave the door open, and we could see her go back out front in the store without ever washing her hands!! For gods sake what happened to cleanliness...
