I have been getting takeout from the Vancouver mall location for around 1 year and up until today, the service was excellent distinguishing CFA from the other ho hum places like MacDonalds and Jack in the Box. Today, I ordered 3 sandwiches and 1 kale salad from a nice young lady. I could tell she was a new employee and she had to ask me for my order 3 times. I was very clear about wanting the chicken club with pepper jack cheese for 2 of the sandwiches and a spicy chicken deluxe as the 3rd. After paying and waiting, I was given 2 bags by a young man who was efficient but not very friendly. I checked both bags and realized there were only 2 sandwiches; not 3 like I had ordered. I approached the young man who had given me my order. I told him that I was missing a sandwich. He offered no apology or empathy. He told me he would ring up the order for the 3rd chicken sandwich and get it for me. When I checked the receipt, I then realized that the new female server had ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches; not the 2 grilled chicken club sandwiches as I had told her at least 3 times. I then told the young male server about the mistake regarding the grilled chicken sandwiches not having bacon as I had ordered. He was going to get me two new grilled chicken club sandwiches when a more senior female server stepped in to find out the issue. After she found out and took over assisting me, again there was no apology or empathy. In fact, she asked if she could just give me 2 sides of bacon to put in the grilled chicken sandwiches because the ones they made for me without the bacon “would get thrown away”. Those were her words. As a customer, It made me feel as though not wasting food and saving money was more important than good customer service and customer satisfaction. The Vancouver Mall location CFA customer service is mediocre at best and no different from any other fast food restaurant. I am okay with the mistake made by the new server. What I am concerned about is no apology or empathy from 2 more seasoned employees who work at a place like CFA whose reputation is built on excellent customer service. When I attempted to go to the Vancouver Mall CFA website to leave honest feedback on the mediocre service, I could not even log in to leave feedback because the CFA website would not respond/load when I hit the button…How sad and pathetic that CFA is becoming just another typical fast food restaurant! I won’t be eating at this location...
Read moreWell as expected of any newly opened and popular restaurant, the mall Chick-fil-A can be counted as one of those places that failed. I mean I can't blame them totally, when we got there around 1pm, the drive thru line wrapped around the mall parking lot with teo lanes and about maybe 5 to 6 employees taking orders. It was their first week opening also. Anyway I love this place, the only thing I do not care for on their menu is their waffle fries. Would it kill anyone to keep them in to brown just a tad bit longer? Just saying if you are reading this Chick-fil-A, maybe offer this ad an option or maybe I can tell the drive thru person I want my fores borwn n crisp. Anyhow here's why I gave it 3 stars. Order was wrong and we were missing one item. I didn't want to go back to get my side of fresh fruit which would've been another hour in line. It was not worth it. Ok well here's the other problem it was getting the details wrong. One burger we ordered was to replace the pepper jack with the other cheese(i can't recall i think it was provolone or American cheese) but we opened it and both cheese slices were there. Not even melted either like they just slapped it on as an after thought. Our food was not hot, not even warm either so I am assuming it has been sitting there for a bit. Why? Another fact is the tomatoes on our burgers were not the usual freshness but kinda soggy and wamred through like we usually get from the Mill Plain one which btw we have always gotten fresh off the grill and hot food. These were the failures at the new mall. I am sure they have worked out the kinks I hope. Don't get me wrong the chicken burgers were okay, but I know they are better than what I had that day the chicken didn't seem as crispy. Mind you, I like Chick-fil-A's burgers over popeyes chicken sandwich but thats me personally. But otherwise for now, I will be going all the way up to Mill Plain to get what I expect from Chick-fil-A, f which is freshly made hot food, where you get everything...
Read moreYou can not call to speak to anyone at this location! If you have an issue with an order they expect you to drive all the way back, send an email, or talk to a third party and have them request a call back. Frankly they have some of the worst customer service I've delt with. You can call most franchises in our area and actually get a human being.
We ordered from door dash. Our 8oz CFA sauce was missing from our order and there was a portion of the bag that was open enough that a sauce could have been in it. I tried calling the location that the order was placed at to see if the driver just forgot it or if they had actually gone into our food. I'm pregnant and I need to know if some random driver had their mitts on our food or if they just simply forgot it. I can't drive right now so going into the store isn't an option, and requesting an email/call back doesn't help me right now when I need to know. Why even have a 3rd party call center when they can't even connect you directly to the store you need. The woman I spoke to seemed to think I was fishing for compensation from them... Not the case at all! I just want to know if the driver got into my food or if it was a simple slip up where the sauce was forgotten. Literally just a 2 minute conversation with someone at that location instead it turned into 34 min phone call with someone who could do nothing for me but send an email... Wow!
Their chicken sandwiches are great, the best I've had but their customer service needs a...
