Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Vancouver

Never know what I'll experience here. Sometimes nothing goes wrong, but more often than not, there is some problem. They used to use BOCA burgers which are horrible. Thankfully they have much better vegeburgers that taste 1000X better. The last two visits my group had to wait an excruciatingly long time to receive our food. The first we stopped with plenty of time before our movie was to start. Fast forward over an hour and we finally received our food. Fries were barely above room temp. When we were done there was a problem with their payment machine and our server went to fix it. Twenty minutes later the server was nowhere in sight, so I had to go see what was wrong as our movie was about to start. After someone finally found her and a few more minutes passed, she had to rewrite everything and find out who had paid already and it took some time to get our bill paid. All told, between waiting for a table, waiting for food, and waiting to pay we were there over two whole hours.

The last visit was more of the same waiting. Group of only 3 this time but they served four other tables before ours. When I asked another worker about it she replied that maybe they had easier orders. Really?? We had an order of 2 burgers and 1 chicken breast. That's it. When the food finally did arrive almost an hour later my burger was room temp so it had obviously been sitting for awhile. The staff was nice and did make me another one which was warm this time, but still, why do I keep having these same problems.

One other time that stands out, they forgot my order. When they finally brought my order everyone else was about finished eating, and my burger was cold in the middle as if microwaved. Not only that but the broccoli was cold and crunchy as well. I just ate the broccoli but had them remake the burger. When they brought a new one it was on two different types of buns (top/bottom). I really don't know why I give them this many chances. The food is good if you can get it hot, but it just might...

I had ordered 2 cheese burgers. One with everything on it plus a fried egg. My 2nd cheese burger I had ordered it with ketchup only and a fried egg. The girl taking my order read it back to me to make sure what I told her was correct. I get home and saw my burger that was supposed to be ketchup only had everything on it. I called the restaurant and asked what they wanted to have happen. I told them to remake the burger and I'll come back in. I get there and ask if they could throw in some cookies to make up for it since I had to come back and have my burger remade. I open the box and checked while I was there to make sure it was made right. They gave me one "fresh baked cook". The cookie was cold 🥶 NOT fresh baked like they had said. Plus my fries were raw. My wife and might just have to put thus place on the back burner for places to eat at for a while.

Update. I forgot to mention that the 1st burger the messed up on. My wife ate it the next night and had gotten sick from it.

So tonight my mom my daughter and I came here for dinner. Is my daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger, My mom ordered the bacon chicken wrap. I got that bonzai burger with no tomatoes no Mayo, I added scorpion sauce and an extra side of it plus the prickly pear coder. Our waiter wad Robert, he was hands down AMAZING and everything you would want from a waiter. If you can get his section, I HIGHLY recommend you get him. The quality of service was hands down amazing

Tonight my daughter and I came in for a bite to eat. She had the bacon cheeseburger and I had the banzi burger. For mine I had it with no tomatoes or Mayo but instead added scorpion sauce Which I was charged 99 cents for, which made no sense, since I was substituted the mayo. My daughter had ordered fried pickles And a strawberry lemonade. I ordered a oreo milkshake with Carmel sauce. Our waiter was Josh and he did a phenomenal job, I would recommend to get him...

We sat down at a booth in the bar area and waited almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. Servers walked by us many times and cleared tables around us and we eventually had to ask for menus. I understand that the server clearing the tables around us was not our server. When the server asked for our beverage order and starters we asked for water with no ice and a short stack of onion rings. Ice water was brought to us twice. And lipstick was on one of the cups. We placed our food order finally when the water w/o ice came and the server barely looked at us. The table next to us was sat 5 minutes after we were and they had onion rings show up. We waited and waited and eventually had to call over a different server because I couldn't find ours, to ask when our onion rings would be out, since we were there and ordered ours before the other table was even sat.... that's when our server popped over and got snippy with us about how SHE would figure out where our food was for us! The other server even apologized for that behavior. By this time almost 30 minutes had gone by and still no onion rings. At this point we felt maybe out ordered didn't get put in for the onion rings so we checked the table kiosk and there was a double order of almost everything we asked for... but no onion rings. The other server came by and said the situation was getting resolved and management would be notified. We pointed out the discrepancy on the kiosk and wanted to be sure we didn't get double the food we asked for, or charged and that we see the onion ring ordered never got put in. Next thing we know a large order of onion rings came and they didn't charge us for them. Right after the onion rings our food showed up and our fries were totally cold. By now I'm so frustrated and annoyed wasn't even sure it was worth asking for another order or fries!! Thankfully the attitude of our server changed and she didnt get...
