A very tasty gem on the far side of Vancouver. Between the two of us, we had the pulled pork sandwich, the brisket sandwich, and shared a large order of the BBQ baked beans. The sandwiches looked deceptively "average" sized in the containers, but we quickly learned there was some sort of culinary magic sewn into them that left us very much satisfied with the portion size (it's been four hours, and we're still "oof" levels of full).
The pulled pork was lean, albeit a smidge dry (sauce helped that along, though). But the brisket. The brisket. It was... makes "mwah" fingers from mouth That was the winner between the two meats. Again, lean, but less dry than the pork and with a near-perfect smokiness. The beans were as we like them, tender with a nice thick sauce and slices of sausage throughout.

The barbecue beans are what I talk about most, and just crave. Super tender and flavorful ribs too that don't need sauce! Neither does their pulled pork, brisket or pastrami. Their sauces are amazing though, I like the mustard and original/sweet whatever it's called. The spicy one isn't for me but it's got great flavor.
This is one of those satisfying barbecue places that makes you want to take a heavenly...

I had a wonderful tri-tip sandwich (it being Thursday) and my wife had the pastrami. Both were wonderful. Not only that, but we enjoyed talking with Carlos and learning about his business. Great food tastes even better when it's served by someone as friendly as him. We'll be bach! (Said like that big...
