Ichi 20 Teriyaki — Restaurant in Vancouver

Ive been to this location twice in the last month and Very Clearly asked- the first time “This Doesnt Come With Veggies Right?” “Yeah” and the second time asked for a meals rice on the side, Got It On the side!, and “I Do Not want Veggies With The Second Order” “Yes” both times I got an acknowledgement, and both times I had to choke down steamed cabbage juice infused rice because every other part of my meal was touching and being soaked in steam vegetables. There is nothing i find more disgusting then steamed greens and having my entire meal tainted with soggy cabbage essence makes me extremely weary of going back, at least to this specific location, again. The food is good, but having something as simple as “dont waste food i wont eat that ruins the rest of my food by giving me it” ignored two times in as many weeks is uuuh pretty...

I called in an order for takeout and when I arrived she said it was $20, I was shocked! (I ordered chicken teriyaki and an extra side salad) I mean it's literally chicken and rice and the salad is just a small portion of watery iceberg lettuce with a tiny sprinkle of shredded carrots. They don't even take the time to dry the lettuce. I understand inflation however if I'm going to pay $20 for a meal I'll go somewhere that I can get more quality and service for my money. Now if you don't care about the cost, the chicken is decent I did have a few chewy pieces, they do give you a good portion but they should for these prices! The teriyaki sauce is just ok, the salad dressing is pretty good. But the lettuce was really wet and so the salad dressing ended up getting watered down when you put it on the lettuce which took away from any...

More like icky teriyaki....yes, large portions, but very disappointing in flavor. I was charged $6 to upgrade a combo from white rice to noodles and fried rice. The fried rice did not taste good and more like burnt oil, and the noodles were raw w no sauce in parts. The only saving grace was the sweet n sour chicken, it was good, however the cuts of meat were not consistant at all. Cashew chicken was not edible. Some giant pieces, some extremely small.
