Absolutely Fantastic Lunch!!! We stopped at Say Ciao for lunch and were blown away! We had the special of the day — a seared ham sandwich with green chilies, arugula, and pineapple — the pineapple flavor complimented by seared onions. Absolutely perfect. The homemade sweet corn chowder was the ideal pairing, rich and comforting without being heavy. We were so impressed that, even though we’re from out of town, we ordered extra food to go — their burgers and coleslaw were just as amazing! Wonderful food, friendly service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for such a great experience — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Say Ciao did an absolutely incredible job catering our company’s event for our 10 yr anniversary ! The food, staff and the musician they brought were all top notch! I highly recommend Peter and his catering service for any event you want done right! Say ciao also has a great little restaurant with live music on the weekends that you definitely need to check out. It’s super quaint and has a wonderful vibe!

A surprising find on our bike ride... tucked among lots of industrial building is this cute little eatery/pub featuring great beers and a small tapas like menu. The fries were to die for! They also have paint nights which sound like fun. Quite limited hours (mainly lunch with a couple evenings) but would definitely go back.

I took my aunt here to try a new place and both of us are fans of NW fare so I thought it would be perfect! I called ahead to check to see if there would be any problems with us eating dinner there on Wednesday and to use my Groupon. I was told I could not use my Groupon for happy hour or lunch, that was fine with me because we wanted dinner. Her time in Vanouver was pressing, so we needed an early dinner, and got there at 4:40 PM and then told that we couldn't have dinner because they don't have their dinner set up until 5PM. They said that they would seat us, and we could order any appetizer for the wait and have our dinner ready as soon as the kitchen opened up again. We agreed, they were still very slow on the service even though we were the only people in the dining area, didn't get to order our appetizer until just before 5PM and our food came closely after our appetizer, not much space in between. We did not even receive a wine list, and just before we left, they finally lit the candle at our table. Our food was not any faster than any other costumers around us. The atmosphere was cold, and they also did not turn on the lights for several minutes with us sitting there in the dark waiting for some kind of service. Not a good start, and not a good end. I had to get up to find our waitress to pay our bill. The food was good, but if they are going to close between lunch and dinner, that should be on their website or they should have some kind of...

My husband and I have a new favorite restaurant, APPLEWOOD. We went for the first time ever for our Anniversary. We had excellent service and the food was absolutley beautiful. We had the duck breast and chicken medallions. DELICIOUS !!! I felt like I was at a 4 star restaurant. The drinks were even better ..LOL !! When we were in Hawaii we had eaten at Ruth Chris Steak House and Applewood beats them by far, that was our fav now Applewood. The lounge is nice and relaxing , freindly atmosphere. All staff said,"Good evening" ,"Welcome", "Was everything good?","Come Back Again." Thank you for such a lovely evening. And the sun setting thru the window really set the mood. Only one request have someone play the violin or cello live on...

First of all let me say the service was 4 stars, however the meal itself was a 2 at best. Ordered grilled lamb chops with an Asian twist. The lamb was so pungent (the chef left the silver skin on the meat- who trained this guy?) and was of horrible quality. My wife got the NY Strip and the flavors were very flat. When you can grill a steak purchased at a grocery store at home that is of better taste and quality you question why you just spent $30 for a lousy one at a restaurant. Not sure who your meat supplier is, but I would consider a new vendor. It feels like the owner is really trying but fails miserably with the overall food quality. Wish it were a different situation, we will not...
