My first time in, I was impressed by the ambiance. Kind of a trendy modern feel. Parking is very limited. Not sure why, but go during off-peak hours if you do. I asked the server about an ingredient in my curry. She couldn't tell me. She had no idea. I figured out later for myself that is was some type of galangal. Its diced coarsely so the curry is not smooth. Each spoonful of sauce is chunky and unpleasant to me. I would have strained it. On average the prices are higher than comparable restaurants.

I figured to give it another shot because I thought my wife has liked her experience here. She didn't remember the place or what she had eaten, so that was a "no".

Anyways I recommended it again. My second experience: The ice water had no ice. Unlike the beverages. The thai iced coffee was 3/4 ice. My wife ordered a Sprite, which was 3/4 ice and had some red chucks in it. I'm guessing is was dried up grenadine syrup that got in the glass somehow.

The waiter's shirt had food stains.

Thirdly, I never read the descriptions when I order something that can be found on almost any thai menu: Cashew nut chicken. So that's my fault. I prefer onions and bell peppers, maybe green onions or a little fresh thai chili pepper; Not carrots and celery and pineapple. It's more like a sweet chicken pot pie recipe. The cashews were not cooked. The sauce was lacking sweetness and the consistency was more of a broth compared to a sauce.

When I can dish up a better curry and cashew nut chicken at home, it makes me think twice about a restaurant. I admire the attempt, but the food...

Rude employees and terrible food. I ordered chicken satay and lettuce rolls; both of which I’ve had at other Thai restaurants. This was my first AND LAST time to eat at Ginger Pop. I ate 1 piece (out of 4) of the satay and that’s all I could take. Then I ate 1 lettuce roll (out of 4) and that was all I could take of those as well. They were rubbery and full of dry rice noodles and only a couple of small pieces of meat. I tried to pick out just the meat from the rolls which there was only 1-2 small pieces in it. I didn’t want to be rude so I tried in earnest to eat it, but after the 2 things I ate, I finally just couldn’t eat it and asked the lady to switch it for Pad Thai. The manager came out and accused me of eating more than half of my meal and then trying to get something else. She said she wasn’t “going to discount any of it”, which I never asked her to do! I planned fully well to pay for it. I just asked to switch it to Pad Thai. She said she didn’t want me to get the pad Thai and then eat some of it and decide I didn’t like it!!!! I felt like I was being accused of stealing the food!!! What she didn’t understand is that I am an extremely faithful customer of many restaurants that I go to, and I’m not hard to please. I will never eat there again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. What happened to customer service and trying to “make it right”??!! I would have been a lifelong customer. I was appalled to say the least. I walked out and will never return. She embarrassed me and it was...

Was on my way here one night on my way home. Never tried it before, but was pretty excited about it. It was 45 minutes until close, so I figured that was plenty of time for a single order for myself. Called them, and the phone was answered, but no one was there. Like someone accidentally answered it without realizing it.

I was about five minutes away, so I figured I'd just order when I get there because when I tried to call again, it went straight to voice-mail. I get there and walk up to the front counter where a lady is going through receipts. She looks at me, then just goes back to what she's doing without acknowledging my presence other than the quick glance.

I asked if they close at 9:30. She replies "yes" without looking at me... I just stand there for a minute waiting for her to finish doing what she's doing since it's far more important than helping me. After she finishes, she goes to walk away, so I tell her I'd like to make an order. She proceeds to tell me they aren't taking any more orders tonight. Turns out, instead of telling me that on the phone, they answered the phone and sat it down so I couldn't call back.

I very rarely write reviews, but they went above and beyond to be terrible, so I went above and beyond to make sure they...

Fantastic dining experience and phenomenal food! The staff were pleasant and attentive throughout the entire meal. My wife and i “popped” in for lunch on a whim and had an amazing meal. Sat at the bar which was nice and ordered a whisky ginger sour which was really refreshing and pleasantly different than most whiskey sours I’ve had in the past. As a starter we ordered the coconut shrimp 🍤 which was hands down best coconut shrimp I’ve had in ages! Crispy outside, hot and tender inside, Loads of flavor, and that chili sauce that came with it was so phenomenal that we saved it to use with our main course! For the min entree we ordered the coconut noodles (feeling a bit tropical today I guess) and they were amazing. The veggies in the noodles were crisp which was another pleasant surprise as most places would cook everything together in a way that would cause the veggies to come out soggy. But not here! This place seemed to have it all, from great Thai to cocktails and appetizers. The atmosphere was nice as well and seemed like a great family place or group experience. This was a fantastic treat and we’ll definitely be coming back!!

Ginger Pop had me at the name because I LOVE anything ginger... and the food didn't disappoint!!! I'm in town for a week, and they will see me often because I really had a hard time trying to figure out what to order because everything looked so good. The first day, I had ginger chicken, and my husband had mixed vegetables with chicken. (I was so excited I forgot to take a picture) The 2nd day was spicy sauteed beef, chicken yellow curry, and a dragon fruit mojito. (which was sooooo flavorable and delicious) We did a spice level 4 on the spicy beef and spice level 3 for the curry chicken. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and you could tell it was fresh!!! We will be going back one more time before we leave because I have to try the garlic chicken. The customer service is also top-notch! The owner Amy, is so personable and very sweet. Cassie, My, and Jade were amazing as well. There is no doubt I will be visiting again when I return in 3 months. Thank you for such amazing customer service and a delicious Thai experience!!!

We went here for lunch on a Saturday and enjoy the outdoor patio seating. Our waiter was really nice and professional. Service was prompt. We ordered shrimp rolls and chicken pot stickers for appetizers. Both were really tasty and well made. Pot stickers were perfectly crisp and didn't taste like they were just pulled out of the freezer. Tasted homemade. My pad Thai was delicious. If I had to be super critical, I would have like a larger slice of lime and a bit more chicken. The portion of noodles is so large, the chicken and lime just seemed disproportionate. My boyfriend got the crab fried rice after confirming that it was fresh crab. He loved it! Again a large portion. We each had enough left over to make another meal. We will absolutely be back.
