Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Ventura

First off, I am a essential. And I understand the stresses of working during these hard times however the service was not that great infact it was unacceptable. I took a minute to look at the menu and found that there was a good deal you can get 3 piece tenders a spicy chicken sandwich fries and cookie and a drink for $5. I decided to choose that however the cashier said they were out of the batter for The spicy sandwich and she offered me different chicken and I accept it however after putting it into her register she said that it will be a $2 up charge I explained to her that she told me there was no charge until after she put it in she spoke with her manager and he also said it was a $2 charge so why would you offer me something for regular price then and you know a few seconds offere it for moreso I ordered something else I ordered three piece chicken tenders with fries and a drink. The tenders looked very red which tells me that they were burnt It also smelled very unsanitary inside the waiting area as well.

I will not be buying food from this franchise again and do not recommend it whatsoever.

I always go above and beyond for my customers why can't Carl's jr. Do the same especially in these hard times be thankful that you have a job and be happy...

I love Carl's Jr they are the best burger spot makers I've ever ate at. There #1 in my book but today I ate at this specific Carl's Jr on E. Thompson in Ventura ca I ordered my favorite burger the 6 dollar guacamole burger. What I got was by far the worst burger I've ever eaten in my life. I was mind blown to see such a terrible burger. It was the smallest burger I've ever seen them make. The patties together did not even make the size of a 1/4 pound patties. The bun was even worse the condiments was so skimpy i couldn't even tast them. I will never eat at this place ever again. The franchise owners should be ashamed of him self. For selling such a terrible burger. This place is a disgrace to the Carl's Jr name. This place should be put out of business. It should be given to a franchise own who will take pride in serving food that meets Carl's expectations. If i was in charge the employees thats making this food would be fired and replaced with properly trained employees. As for the owner I would strip his franchise license and let be know to everyone. Always enjoy Carl's Jr. I noticed this one has been completely renovated since the last time I was in town. So I slid in and ordered a meal, and settled in to charge my phone and enjoy the fresh new store....but I couldn't.....none of the outlets worked. The power plugs (4) with the 2 additional USB charging stations each? Dead. I thought... wait a minute, this building is BRAND NEW! I asked the counter folks and they said "We know, yes it is so odd! A BRAND NEW building, and none of the outlets work. I checked every outlet along the walls. All DEAD! Imagine my surprise. How do they run a vacuum to keep the floors clean? How do they run a steam cleaner to keep their store disinfected, you ask? I...DUNNO. SO, I had to wolf down my meal and run to find another store to recharge my battery. I'm way down, man.
