Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Ventura

IVE BEEN ORDERING PIZZA HERE FOR YEARS.. FOR THE MOST PART NO COMPLAINTS; HERE LATELY- IVE CHANGED MY VIEW OF THIS PARTICULAR DOMINOES.. i HAD 2 SEPARATE INCIDENTS THAT WERE REAL WRONG WITH NO KIND OF RESOLUTION OR EVEN AN APPOLOGY ..SHAME ON ME FOR GIVING THEM THE 2ND CHANCE. AND UNLESS SOME ONE MAKES GOOD ON THIER WORD I WAS GIVEN"TO CREDIT ME NEXT TIME"- I WONT BE DOING BUSINESS AGAIN WITH THIS DOMINOES ESPECIALLY. i ORDERED A 3 TOPPING MED. FOR 7.99. MY USUAL ORDER LATELY. I STATED THAT I WOULD COME GET IT FOR CARRY OUT...AS THE FIRST INCIDENT INVOLVED AN ORDER FOR DELIVERY THAT AFTER 2 HRS. AND AT LEAST 3 FOLLOW UP CALLS TO CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER AND CONFIRM MY ADDRESS AND CHECK WHERE THE DRIVER WAS AT...I ENDED UP DRIVING DOWN THERE AND CANCELING MY ORDER. AFTER ALL THAT IT- WAS TOO LATE TO GET ANYTHING ELSE TO EAT ANY PLACE NEARBY. THERE WAS NO OFFER OF ANY RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AND I WENT AWAY HUNGRY AND QUITE DISAPPOINTED IN THE LIES I WAS TOLD ON THE PHONE REGARDING THE WHOLE SITUATION EACH TIME I CALLED THAT EVENING. IT WAS QUITE A WHILE UNTIL I ORDERED AGAIN FROM THEM WITH THE ONLY RESOLUTION WAS FROM MYSELF TO JUST NEVER GIVE THEM THAT OPPORTUNITY AGAIN..SO I DONT DO DELIVERY. I GO PICK IT UP MYSELF FROM THAT POINT IN TIME UNTIL THIS LATEST INCIDENT;--- I ORDERED MY USUAL AND AGREED TO CARRY OUT. I ASKED HOW LONG TILL MY ORDER WOULD BE READY... I GOT THERE AND PAID FOR MY PIZZA AND WENT DIRECTLY HOME TO EAT. I LIVE ABOUT 6 BLOCKS UP THE AVENUE FROM THE STORE. WHEN I GOT HOME AND WENT TO SERVE IT UP..IT LOOKED LIKE THE PIZZA WAS VERY OLD. BARELY WARM. IT WAS HORRIBLE AND I CALLED IMMEDIATELY TO TELL THEM ABOUT IT. I WAS TRANSFERED TO ANOTHER WORKER ON THE PHONE AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD COMP ME THE SAME PIZZA NEXT TIME WHEN I ORDERED. FAIR ENOUGH I THOUGHT.. WELL APPARENTLY THEY DIDNT ENTER THE CREDIT/COMPED RESOLUTION IN THE COMPUTER THEY I.D. YOU ON WHEN YOU CALL THEM A N ORDER BY PHONE. NO NOTATION WAS PUT INTO THE COMPUTER BY WHOEVER I SPOKE TO AND AGAIN NO RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM AND NO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN OR HONESTY OR INTEGRITY TO WITHHOLD THEIR WORD THAT WAS MADE TO ME TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. TREATED LIKE A DERELICT TRYING TO SCAM THEM FOR A FREEBIE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS NOT REAL HAPPY TO SAY THE LEAST. AND I WILL LET THESE EXPERIENCES IVE HAD WITH DOMINOES BE KNOWN ANY AND EVERY TIME I GET AN OPPORTUNITY- BEIT SOCIAL MEDIA. YELP. BBB. GOOGLE REVIEWS AND ANY WHERE ELSE UNLESS THEY HOLD UP TO THEIR WORD AND THEIR FIX TO THIS PROBLEM THEY MADE WITH ME ON THE PHONE. I DONT NEED A FREE PIZZA BUT ID LIKE SOME RESPECT AND HONESTY--THE BALLS IN YOUR COURT SO TO SPEAK NOW DOMINOES ON THE AVE- HOPEFULLY YOU DO THE RIGHT...

Jocelyn made our food with love for sure, my bread twist were absolutely delightful. The pizza was cooked to perfection.

In many ways, the work of critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism which is fun to write and to read, but the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risk something, and that is in discovery and defense of the “New”. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new. An extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and it’s maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I’ve made no secret of my distain for Domino’s Pizza. Anyone can cook, but I realize , only now do I truly understand what they meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist “can come from anywhere”. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Domino’s, who is, in this critics opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in Ventura. I will be returning to Domino’s soon, hungry for more. P.s. bread...

Hey I usually order Domino's every other Friday that get me the big big match the the bacon tater tots and the brownies and the two pizzas jalapeno and sausage and I see right a lot but up you still find extra so I can have later on at night or in the morning or if I have visitors stop but I won't be eating pizza or anything by myself but nobody touches my tater tots because I save that for the morning and then I make it with I make it with the eggs eggs and beans and it's a good place they always have my food on time they always say that it was hot it was never cold or late off of up at the Avenue but you know what for being a little real Domino's they think they deliver fast and I don't have no complaints with them oh I do have one complaint that they show on TV but the emergency free pizza I never got asked for a free pizza or nothing cuz there's times I don't want to cook but anyways it's a good place driver the the order person everyone's respectful...
